Except that the difference is there was no organized rioting and protesting when Obama's admin was deporting them, even at the higher rates. This is as much to do with "Orange Man bad" and we must opposed everything he says as it is "We disagree with the immigration laws." There have been countless examples of things that were virtually identical under Obama and Trump, but leftists had a meltdown about it happening under Trump and didn't bat an eyelash about it happening under Obama. It's faux outrage. It's based on a narrative and who they're told to resist and be mad at, not reason or facts or common sense.

The left was also excited and wrong in their analysis on Rittenhouse for years. We always heard he took his rifle across state lines to go hunt and murder the BLM folks. It was obvious and on video then and the media had to eat crow when the trial came around. Rittenhouse was appreciated by some because he was wrongfully targeted by the media, wrongfully targeted by the left, happened to wax some pretty bad dudes, and made them all look like idiots. That said, I still have some questions about life choices and parenting there. You don't know that. Not enough evidence has come out to determine that yet. Lots of things look one way until further evidence comes out and you realize it wasn't what you thought when you had only part of the story. When the Good woman was shot, a few of you here on IE swore it was "this" and yet when other evidence came out, it turned out you were 100% wrong. Wait and see when all the evidence comes out. There’s nothing to debate on this topic. Watch the video. The guy that shoots him is looking directly at the one that removes the gun from his holster. He shoots him as soon as the other officer moves away.
Right and I pointed out that Rittenhouse is an amazing example because the Left analyzed it with about .1% accuracy in the days, weeks, and months after the event. Had one of the left-wing pedos or wife beaters there taken him down it would have raised a Darwin question for him and the parents. Instead, it was three low-life’s who earned their fate. I don’t think the in-depth play by play is going to matter in Minneapolis. This guy put himself in a bad situation and the officers are dealing with chaos and reacted to a perceived threat. I think the threshold to justify that threat will be easily met in this situation from what I am seeing, but we shall see. My confidence in the justice system diminishes more day by day, so you never know.

This is the same thing you said about the Good incident, then turned out to be completely mistaken... and still kept denying what we all saw on multiple videos.
