You could not watch the game and perfectly match the talent/coaching to the team.

I don’t know how to not make this sound like sour grapes…but this can’t even really mean that much to IU fans. It would be like us winning a basketball national title. Sort of fun in a novel sort of way. Idk. It can’t mean as much without all the years of close misses and heartbreak. They sucked and then got good in 24 months.

Um, I think if ND won a MBB title it would be a pretty big deal. But I doubt we'll be testing what effect a MBB title would have anytime soon.

When ND was making elite 8 runs and taking UK to the wire, people were excited but moved on quick. The same will happen with IU fans as soon as Hoosier bball gives them something to be pissed off about when they inevitably flame out as usual
