I could see Price coming back he hasn't really gotten the spotlight he is probally a early 3rd round pick right now. He could come back and give it one last round and be a 1st round pick.

3 of the 4 ESPN analysts have Price as the second RB off the board and given his Achilles history, he should absolutely go if that’s where he’s guaranteed to drop. I’d love to see him back but I think a better story for ND long term is having the first two RBs off the board in the draft.

Yeah I mean if that's the case he should go, our RB room will be fine Williams and Osborne combo is going to be a top 10 RB unit next year, go watch Osbornes tape he has some J Love in him.

If Price is the guy, he works his way to a first round pick. If he leaves now, my hope is that the two headed battery is Williams and Young. I've always been a big Young fan and I really hope he comes back 100% and works his way into Seider's two man rotation.

Osbourne is really a wild card. Can he pass block when called upon as a true freshman will be the key question. When he has the rock, there shouldn't be any issues.

You watch "Inside the Irish"? I felt he could come back until I heard about his upbringing. He has been through stuff. Good for him making it this far

That's not an "if that's the case", he's had a major injury and he's beloved by draft analysts. Do a second of outside the forum spitballing and you'll find a lot of answers to the questions your asking.

When Young got in last year at Purdue, we were in the 4th row and holy shit that dude is big. Looked even bigger than Estime did on the field. Immediately took me back to Bush/ LenDale White days of thunder and lightning.

I mean, let the best players play, but ideally for me it's Williams and Young as the new battery. I think Price should go pro. If he's on just about any other team in America, he's the guy.

From a physicality standpoint, if Young is healthy, he's a get off the bus kind of build. We've seen Williams run. With an OL that has it's five best guys healthy, that's a scary proposition for next year on offense.

I don't see a scenario where he improves his stock too much more. There's plenty of tape on him from the last 2 years and he's been healthy. If you're an NFL GM what more do you really need to see from him?

I don't think he fits what we're looking for at the RB position in the portal TBH. Not sure if anybody in the portal is worth going after at this time

If we were going to bring in a RB I'd look at Adam Mohammed from Washington but it would be where him and Williams were willing to split carries

Is Hollywood Smothers not an option? His name was brought up a lot during the season.

IMO we should only bring in a RB if we think this individual would clearly be an upgrade over williams/james as a starter.

ND has 5 running backs on the roster this spring with 1 (young) injured. With both Osborne and Walton coming in the spring, I think you have to assume at minimum 1 of those 2 are ready to contribute right away in 2026.
