Nakos says Tech won’t be a factor for Raiola, Hummer reporting Oregon could be.

Would point towards Moore likely entering the draft.

From today's II Podcast:

-Brice said KVA will probably miss the first 2 months of the season, and is told by people on campus that his injury "has greatly impacted the desire to retain Sneed."
-Prister and Sampson feel that Schrauth should stay as he's a mid-round guy.
-Brice is still convinced that Wagner will get a $1M+ deal elsewhere.
-Brice said some Freshman are being asked to return for between 1/10th and 1/20th of what they arrived making.
-They all expect ND's top portal acquisition to, at the very worst, be at the level of Malachi Fields. Prister asked Sampson if he had anyone in mind, and Sampson said Nick Marsh and Mateen Ibirogba. Brice said there's some early traction with Ibirogba.

That really sucks about KVA but ND needs to protect him from himself and not rush it back with his injury history. If he can start playing the last 4 games of the year that’s the ideal scenario for him, even though healthy KVA woudlnt need his RS

KVA confirmed tour his ACL? There's been like zero info on it after he was walking ok at Stanford.

Optics of losing Wagner would be bad but he's not likely not worth $1M.

This cap is gonna kill us.... WHile most other teams at our level will ignore we will be the saints and not go above the 21.5 million.

I would be shocked if Brice’s math is correct. That would mean paying $2,000,000 for a freshman if we’re planning to offer $100,000 for the upcoming year which is cheap at that.

Either awful math or some BS cover to act like ND complies with NILGo policies.

On previous episode, Brice said he had SEC GM tell him that if they submit a deal to NIL Go & it gets rejected (I’m not clear on how the system works), they just do it anyway

Everyone was front loading deals so I am not surprised to hear guys would be making less than their “signing bonus” necessarily but to in one breath say ND is gonna compete for a top flight portal WR and another say guys are getting a 95% pay cut, the math doesn’t math unless our 2025 class cost like 40 million dollars up front

Boosters better put their money where their mouth is. We need to double the amount we spend on NIL and let the rest of the College football world know we aren’t fucking around. Admissions needs to get with it and let in underclassmen as well. Need to bring in 2 MIN WR’s, 1 RB, 1QB, 1 TE, 1 NB, 2 DT’s and 1 DE. I’d even consider bringing in an underclassmen LB because Ausberry, Bowen, and AVA is gone after this year.
WTF???

Bevacqua basically said we operate well above the cap.
I heard him say we will abide by the 20.5 million cap. That is not for just football either, it is all sports I believe. It would be the most ND thing to do. Have a generational coach and keep a heavy foot on the scale.

I would assume that ND will use the school budget for some and the collective to supplement or even take on the bulk of the payouts. My guess is the NiL is very healthy and in the same position or better than before the cap was put in place.

Without actually listening to the podcast, I took the posted comment to mean that ND isn’t going to keep paying the initial salaries to those freshmen that they don’t believe have or will live up to the initial expectations l.
