If people believe that the conference's championship process is inadequate, then maybe the conference should fix that. Or maybe teams should choose not to be in megaconferences. I'm just against the idea of having your cake and eating it too. Not winning your conference has to mean something.

I still don't think that's a given. This just reinforces that BYU isn't as good as TT. Everyone already knew that, and it was factored into their #11 ranking. Losing to "Top 4" TT twice is still better than losing to SMU or Louisville.
