Their schedule was borderline crazy to start the year. Baptism by fire. Just took awhile to get all the new pieces to develop.

Credit to Grubbs and his teammates for staying engaged. I think Grubbs is a talented QB and has some good leadership qualities.

Watches their highlights tonight he gets the ball out quick and throws a beautiful ball. He reminds me of a Riley Leonard but bigger arm. He can run too!!

Shouldn't matter. Whoever beat them should be ahead of them. All that matters is H2H now. Haven't you heard?

My favorite thing about Canes fans is them acting like H2H not being end-all-be-all is sacrilegious to the game of football. Happens all the time at every single level.

How could a team that looked so shit in August be winning in the state semifinals? You’re telling me they improved throughout the year?
The OL in particular is miles further along compared to the beginning of the year where virtually every play was a jail break.

Grubbs seals the win with a completion on 4th and 10 for a first down. Neal downs after that. 31-26

2TD’s passing
1TD rushing

He’s got a big arm and he can certainly make throws that others can’t

Great leader. Seems to have some clutch genes.

OK runner but definitely a pure pocket passer.

Haven’t seen enough to know if he can make the touch throws.

Definitely think some services dropped him a lot more than they should have.

I think we got a good one.

#5 on Venice’s defense just so obviously looked and played different than pretty much everyone else out there. Turns out he’s headed to Miami. Tracks.

Grubbs isn’t bad and I don’t know why it became en vogue that he is
Grubbs will end up as Steve Angeli 2.0 in terms of how he was lampooned as a recruit compared to the view of him when he leaves the program.

I've been sold on Grubbs since ND got involved in his recruitment & getting a different 5* QB doesn't guarantee a damn thing.

I think a big benefit for him is that he will be able to sit behind Carr & learn from him.

#4 for him made a helluva catch last night.

Possible he has an Ian Book career where nobody expects anything out of him and he ends up starting 2-3 years.
