For the Penn State haters:

Man, what an ass! You got to be pretty damn unlikable when people are considering "I might just root for Ped State over Indiana." It's a 3-6 Penn State team you beat with a backup QB and no HC. He needs a heavy dose of reality in the B1G championship game and in the playoffs again. Hopefully we're the ones that can deliver the final stroke.

His best post game interview so far. Dude was magnanimous. He seemed caught in the moment and had a genuine reaction to winning that game in that fashion.

That catch was spectacular.

Have to say, you survive on the road at Iowa and Penn State, you're good. Oregon did both of those things too and Indiana beat them. Oregon's only loss, and Oregon is pretty good.

If Indiana beats Ohio State and loses in the playoff, the world is a good place.

Jamie’s replies are full of a bunch of salty IU fans. I’m ready for them to suck again.

Yeah, no thanks to IU winning the B1G. Let them get thumped in the CCG and the playoffs.

Being a WVU guy, I have to imagine winning at Happy Valley is big for Cignetti.

Not a fan of Kurt. Classless. He seems to be a good coach but being a good coach doesn’t make you a classy gent. This isn’t the first time he has talked crap. Leave that for the 20 year old BOYS that play for you.

It's gross that Indiana is even in the top 5.

Ironically enough, I feel like this team and coach make more sense in a state like Pennsylvania.

Jokes are awesome. I love jokes. AI slop is bad for everyone though. They are also fueling the gigantic AI bubble resulting in hundreds of data centers being built, ruining communities, raising electric rates, and providing next to no jobs.
I hate it. It's basically plagiarism and I hope the bubble bursts soon. We have waaaaaaay too many stupid people out there that believe this shit is real, too. My ten year old can spot the fakes better than my 70-something Boomer in laws. I find the whole situation to be utterly screwed.

I am starting to wonder if I'd feel differently about IU if they hadn't played ND last year in the playoff. That exposure was enough. Props to them for jumping into relevancy with an absolute bang, though.

Nothing to write home about.

They're going to utilize The Portal from the looks of things. Get in upperclassmen who are experienced and developed. Not a terrible idea, but you'd think they'd want to supplement that with their own recruits.

IDK. Risky. I'm also biased to what ND is doing, and we're still early into this new era, so we'll see.

I mean, it's worked two years in a row and it worked to some extent for Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss, but you're always going to be really thin and lack depth, you're one bad transfer class away from a big downward swing, and those teams always get exposed versus teams that build via HS recruiting and supplement with high end transfers. It's never a disadvantage to be able to recruit elite HS talent and develop them and in today's world it's not either/or, it's a question of emphasis.

To their credit, those are the 3 highest rated recruits in IU history. Glad they could come out from Ball State's shadow.

In the next ten days we may see Indiana football named the unanimous number one team in the country, and the Vanderbilt QB win the Heisman.

The sport has its flaws, but man that is absolutely incredible.
For too many years this sport was ruined by insane levels of competitive imbalance because of archaic transfer rules, greyshirting, and under the table money movement.

The NIL, and transfer portal era has plenty of flaws that will hopefully be improved with time, but never in (30) years of following this sport has it been more fair.

Good luck to coach Cig on Saturday night.
If he wins the Big 10 and the NCAA Title while going 16-0 in his second season, it would be the most impressive sporting accomplishment I’ve seen since Leicester City won the Premier League Title about a decade ago.

How about, until it actually happens, we keep the Cignetti admiration to ourselves?

And then, let ND line up against these buttercups and blow their doors off like last year.
