I think a name to watch for ND would be Nick Marsh from Michigan St...
Late to the party he has been mentioned numerous times not sure if it will happen but with Carr at QB I have a feeling there is gonna be more than a few big time guys to reach out

The first 2 schools that came to mind were Oregon and IU.
I remember someone saying that Oregon reached out to him last year when they were a bit unsure of Dante. IU might be interested in Lewis if Sanders retires

Do we need a receiver? You'd think Cam and Gilbert would be ready by their third years.

Greathouse, Faison, Cam, Gilbert, KK, and Burress is a solid core. Not to mention the stud freshmen coming in.

If a number 1 guy wants to come, you absolutely take him. Especially if Greathouse decides to leave.

Think we will also be looking for a capable back up QB from a small school once MInchey moves on.

We might’ve been interested a few years ago, but I think we need to aim higher. I will admit I haven’t seen any of his film so I’m judging a book by its cover
What gives me pause is that dude from FIU who transferred here…whose name I can’t even remember…he didn’t end up being able to really show out at this level. And I know, Riley might have hampered that a bit…but Beaux Collins, who did have a P4 pedigree, did perform fairly well for us.

I hope they spend every single NIL dollar they have on WR and DT.
The issue with DT is that, as of the moment, the potential grad transfer pool appears to be really, really bad. The Wake Forest DT who is getting mid-late 2nd round rankings is really the only one that stands out at the moment.

I'd only go after a Malachi Fields type of receiver in the portal. I think Cam Williams & Micah Gilbert could have big seasons next year.

With Greathouse & Faison coming back, this year's freshman class & the 26 WR class I think ND is set at WR.

You bring up a very good point here, and while what you're saying otherwise is also a good point and fair, I can't help but wonder what kind of numbers some of these guys can put up in an offense closer to the 2025 version of it.

also *may* need an OT if Wagner isn’t back like what some of the II podcasters speculated last week comes to fruition

With how we have recruited the Oline if we have to take a portal transfer and it’s not a too good not to take kind of player than Rudolph should be losing his job.
