People here are really ok with any president saying "I don't believe the crime stats of so and so city, I declare it an emergency, I don't care what the mayor/Governor says, I'm sending in troops." Is it going to take for the soldiers to demand a place to sleep before you realize what they doing? Well, it's already come out that the crime stats in DC were doctored, so there's that, but no one is surrendering freedom.

I'm well aware of what's coming out. But the investigation still hasn't concluded, and it still doesn't change my point of people just believing this administration with whatever it says. Where's the same skepticism towards the federal government?

How about offer a solution that doesn't involve federal over each and having troops deployed in our cities. I'm truly shocked by how many people are ok with this. People really would be ok with him becoming a dictator.

Assuming you mean the most recent events in LA, I don't think they should've been called in then. We're seeing unprecedented over reach by the federal government currently and y'all will continue to bend over backwards to justify it and absolve Trump of any role it.

I'll be crystal clear I'm skeptical of whatever the government says regardless of whose in charge. And yes there's pretty much no situation where Trump should send in the military without a request from local authorities. Not sure what part of any of that is difficult to understand. It's not how our military is to be utilized. I've been very clear on my issues with Trump deploying troops on US soil.

I was confused for a second lol. Still waiting for this coffee to kick in while I patch some servers. I understand what you're saying and where you are coming from. I just don't believe this should be what our federal government is doing and how the use the military. I have a hard time viewing this as small government, and honoring state and local rights
