Updates here on Driver and Hasan from Irish Invasion:
-Driver was among the highly touted TE group at Invasion. Eric Thomas recognized him as the best performer of the bunch, though he noted he had some drops. If ND takes 2 TEs from the II visitors I wouldn't be upset or surprised. Jaxon Dollar from NC is similar to Driver as a tall, vertical threat with freaky athleticism. Jack Brown from MO seems to have the most wiggle of the bunch and has positional flexibility as a DE, Trieu listed him as a top performer. Grant Haviland from GA plays for a loaded Milton team and played a bunch as a sophomore behind two SEC recruit seniors. JT Geraci from Don Bosco was chosen for the camp's "best of the best", he has the most filled out frame of the bunch and would pair will with one of the other high ceiling guys. I still like Driver the best but we have good options all around.
Another update on Seneca Driver courtesy of ISD:
  • Planning on visiting for a game this year, uncertain which one at this point
  • He’s in consistent contact with Asst. TE Coach Harris Bivin, also in contact with Denbrock and Freeman
  • Quote from article that stood out to me “It’s still a bit early, but he has a clear idea on how he’ll be evaluating each of his options. ‘How the coaches are, the family atmosphere and how they would utilize me at tight end.’”
Profile on 247: Seneca Driver, Boyle County , Tight End

Also of note in 27 TE recruiting: On3/Rivals just released an article on Jack Brown’s fall visits which notes us as the leader

Yup I went back and searched his name, he was whipping it at Irish Invasion. Either second safe QB to pair with Teddy or a PWO?

Looks like he is posing with his dad.

anybody know if we have a shot with him
His interest seems genuine. Based on his visits I’d say FSU and Tennessee are going to be our biggest competitors for him. He has lots of big time programs after him though so that could change at any point.

You act like ND isn’t throwing money around now
i know they are but just thinking that he'll have the likes of Oregon and Miami throwing the brinks truck at him like they do other elite recruits but hopefully if he is a fit for ND like KPENN is reading then maybe it won't just be about who throws the biggest check to him

Oh man he calls us OLU? Let’s get this one done.

It helps ND a ton getting a discount on the NIL front when you are OLU and your recent NFL players are hall of famers with combined contract values near $1B.
