“Good-sized outside receiver with elite verified speed that fuels explosive vertical playmaking ability. Excellent multi-sport athletic profile with 10.1- and 10.2-second 100-meter speed, in addition to basketball experience. Ran and jumped quite well at the 2025 Navy All-American Combine on a traditionally slow track (4.50 verified 40, 35-inch vertical).”

I understand his 4.5 40 was on a traditionally slow track but 10.1-10.2 100m is Allen Rossum speed. Rossum was running in the 4.2s. Is this a guy with elite long speed and very good short speed?
40s are so first step based you can literally run a 4.39 and then run a 4.49 on your next attempt...This guy has elite short and long speed and can rub sub 21.x in the 200 meter as well. Gotta remember Rossum ran his last 40 at 4.43 and he was one of the 5 fastest guys I've ever seen on a Football field.

Man, this is the guy we always want to add. I really hope he's in the class, along with Brown. Those are two hyper-athletic WRs.

So anyone watching the film actually notice his speed. Something isn’t adding up, that’s. Not 10.2 speed.
That's why I dropped him on my board. He looks like 4.5/4.6. However, I don't know the talent surrounding him. If the QB sucks, he may be forced to play slow

Early 3 star 2027 QB. Kentucky, Baylor, SMU offers. More of a runner tho

I agree he looks to play slower which could be more his own development needed playing WR. Can still be potential yet to be tapped into.

Looked up his track times and it appears 10.36 was his fastest 100. Not 10.1 but definitely very fast.

Faster than quick…

Who was the “quicker than fast” ND play caller?

When you run sub 10.4 you can basically float and be at another gear than everybody else on the field at the Prep level. Basically just coasting along at about 70-75% of maximum speed, makes me think back to when I was a kid at Jr Nationals 9-10 group the 17-18 Yiung Men division had a guy named Derrick Steagall who ended up as Nat'l Champ in the 100 and 200 and later played at GT. The guy just basically coasted on the field 75% of the time but he lit up one ACC team for about 200+ yds and just blew past future NFL CBs at will.

He did run a 10.16 at the Districts but it was slightly over legal wind or no wind information was recorded.
