Yes! Those people make up a good chunk of the base of the support for the Dems. That's not a bad thing, like you pointed out before, increasing latino support the Republican's should be a worrying sign for the Dems. They need to actually help their base of support rather than just being the party of the champagne socialists.
Those votes do count, which is why I mentioned and you didn't seem to acknowledge but that every popular vote since 2000 has been decided by <5% with the exception of Barry in 08. A 5% swing is very big in politics.
