Sounds like the book is garbage too. Didn't reach out to Luna or anyone for confirmation, just ran with the story without context.
The author is actually a fairly straightforward journo. The framing is terrible.

You lost me at Matt Walsh
Matt is just posting on what Maria Belen Mendez has found. Apparently she's a real person and a real archeologist! o_O

Anyone that thinks it's ok to use the government to enforce their religious beliefs is a scum bag for one. He also purposely distorts facts and studies to try and push an agenda

If this is true, then just about every journalist is a scumbag (Which isn't far off honestly). That's all people in media do every day, they give you what they want you to see and squelch the rest if it doesn't support their side.

I don't disagree with that. He's still a step worse than most actual journalists

When did he advocate for the government to enforce his religious beliefs? As this is clearly your opinion, it is hard to research. Unless you made an op-ed somewhere.
Research him, he very clearly wants to push his religious beliefs throughout the country

I've seen him speak. I've even seen one of his movies. I've never seen this.
Which movie? The one where he tried to find a bunch of men and ask them to transition just to play sports but couldn't because no one transitions just to play sports? Or the one where he purposely misrepresents the dangers and efficacy of certain drugs?

Is this because he made a movie mocking trans people with their own interviews or?
He's at odds with nearly everyone on this forum. Plenty of people have said they have no issue with health care trans adults, for example Irish#1 has said he doesn't have any issue with it once someone is an adult.

Unless you believe trans adults shouldn't receive health care you don't really have anything in common with him.

I don't know anyone who I believe 100% of the time or share views 100% of the time. But surely if he is to be disqualified at a name drop, there is something more? No?

You clearly did not watch the movie.

Which movie, you won't even answer. And I watched one of them. Someone that calls for eradication of people or an ideology is enough of reason.

Surely if he were such an extremist, you wouldn't have to use such hyperbole to define his position. Looking at "What is a woman?" - doesn't fit the plot line, at all.

Yes it does. In that movie he purposely misrepresents how the medication lupron works

And there's no hyperbole at all he has used that very language when speaking about trans people

That misrepresentation was only an interview with Dr. Michelle Forcier, a pediatrician featured in the film, who describes puberty blockers like Lupron as "completely reversible" and likens their effect to pausing a song, suggesting that once treatment stops, puberty resumes naturally. It was to give air to the insanity of the pro-puberty blocker weirdos.
