This is topical...I've mentioned in another thread how my son was verbal at 2 and began regressing within a week or two following a round of vaccines. He's 12 now and non-verbal. Coincidence? Maybe, and maybe the vaccine didn't cause his autism, but I don't rule out that the vaccine could have triggered something in him. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, my son had to get some more vaccines before he goes to Junior High next year, one being Chicken Pox which I thought was silly. A week ago he had a seizure in his classroom and ended in an ER trip. He's never had a seizure before. Just yesterday he was on his bus and had another seizure, this one worse than the first. Hard to believe it's just coincidence once again.

At this point when it comes to vaccines for that son we're shutting them down. I think we might get more choosey about what the other kids get too, maybe stick to the ones that really matter and skip the Chicken Pox shots. We're going to go back to spreading out the jabs too instead of getting multiple ones at once.

He went in for the EEG today. They believe he's got Epilepsy given two seizures within two weeks of each other, but he didn't have an episode while they had him hooked up. Again, seems awful strange he's having seizures all of a sudden, never any before, and this is just after starting to get vaccines again. They're putting him on a medication twice a day for the rest of his life to reduce the chance for seizures. We'll have to keep an additional rescue medication on hand if he happens to have a seizure lasting longer than 3 minutes. After a few years they said they can try to do another EEG and see if they can ween him off the medication, fingers crossed.

I think it was clearly a Tump45 admin failure to not include the Afghanis in the negotiations with the Houthis. I am not sure what the specifics of the plan for the withdrawal was at the time of administration turnover, but clearly the Biden team either a) changed the plan in a bad way or b) had a bad plan and failed to change the plan. Regardless, an enduring footprint in Bagram (and coordinating the withdrawal from Bagram rather than Kabul) would have strategically been the greater plan. We could have continued to support the Afghanis with air support and continued maintenance and logistics support of US systems they had control of, and we would have had a foothold into central asia and allow us to project power into Western China if necessary.
