Medical costs surrounding IVF are astronomical and the predictable issues created such as premature birth of triplets border on malpractice, IMO. I think the issue of septuplets and whatnot have substantially subsided as fewer embryos are implanted now than in the past. If you can shell out If you can pay $20k -$50k to manufacture a pregnancy in a lab - you can put up a bond for the NICU costs for early delivery of twins.
Our DIL has always had problems getting pregnant. They went the IVF route, but went to her home country of Columbia to have the procedure because it was much cheaper. She is having twins.

Just quit feedin' the troll, ya'll. Come join me, put him on ignore. You won't be missing anything  Never put anyone else on ignore before because I thought even the people I may disagree with bring useful discussion to the board. Not that one. That speaks volumes after 14 years.
Putting someone on ignore is the most cringe worthy thing ever.

I hope she is able to get close to full term. Premature birth can have a lot of lasting effects. Not to mention the potential for astronomical hospital costs. But it's OK b/c they will be over deductible right? Cost the same to them. Has nothing to do with insurance costs skyrocketing for everyone else forced to absorb the cost. Bet they don't plan on giving birth in Columbia for lower costs.

Right... That's why they removed this one, changed the URL to include DEI, and then put it back up after it was discovered.

Pentagon website removes, then restores, page honoring Black Medal of Honor recipient https://www.npr.org/2025/03/17/nx-s1-5330848/defense-pentagon-black-medal-of-honor-charles-rogers
You think Pete Hegseth is the one going and individually adjudicating all of these domain changes and not existing DOD employees who may be acting in bad faith to discredit the new administration?

1. Prove this.
2. I look forward to Hegseth terminating these employees and restoring the websites to their original forms!
Prove that Pete Hegseth isn’t going and editing the websites?

And they were definitely existing employees because the department has been under a hiring freeze since Hegseth was confirmed that is still ongoing. It is definitely malicious compliance because no serious functioning adult would understand getting rid of DEI messaging as “get rid of the picture of the Enola Gay”

*Looks at the sentence I quoted*
*Double takes at your response to it*

You can't be this stupid, can you?

It is definitely malicious compliance
Prove this.

I look forward to Hegseth terminating these employees and having the websites restored/restored to their original forms since he knows about them now!

Some federal judge would probably block them from being fired anyways

Isn't there a Grey area where people aren't sure if it's more than two or two consecutive? I've read that they are exploring that.
This is from the musk AI

"In the United States, a person can serve as president for a maximum of two terms, totaling eight years, whether those terms are consecutive or non-consecutive. This restriction comes from the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1951. The only exception is if someone assumes the presidency mid-term (e.g., as vice president succeeding a president who dies or resigns) and serves less than two years of that term—they could then still run for two full terms of their own, potentially totaling up to ten years in office. Historically, Franklin D. Roosevelt was the only president to serve more than two terms, winning four elections before the amendment was enacted."

Interesting. It's very opaque and open to interpretation. I guess we will cross that bridge when we get there.
