Just got off my dirt bike (KTM) 7 minutes ago, does anyone else ride?
Life longer though I haven't had a bike for a few years. I had a KTM 300 EXC for 15 years or so. Best bike I've ever owned. When I moved to AZ, I started spending more and more time at the dunes so I made a mistake and sold it. Now I've been toying with the idea of buying another 300. Probably get a Beta but I like the Sherco's too.

Which KTM do you have?

He doesn’t have a chance but I’d love to see Helio win it.

Better chance off road than on. Contrary to what you've heard, tree's rarely jump out in front of you.

Blue haired old ladies on the other hand? They be gunnin' for ya. I've got two sets of 40 year old strawberries to prove it.

Congrats to Byron for going back to back yesterday but damn I really don’t enjoy watching plate racing. I understand why Daytona is the biggest race of the year but IMO races like the Coke 600 at Charlotte & the Southern 500 at Darlington are better measures of a driver’s skill than the Daytona 500

I hate pack racing. It's stupid and contrived to get the 'big one' for the fans.

They replaced the restricter plate with a taper spacer in the intake to get the same effect.

All they have to do is lower the degree of angle in the corners to get the cars to slow down and actually have to brake. Like the brickyard 400.

Denny Hamlin is far from my favorite driver but everything he said about the set up for plate tracks on his podcast is on point.

Indycar season starts Sunday and NASCAR returns to COTA. How’s my fellow Irish motorsports fans feeling about this?

Love it.

Andretti/Cadillac are also joining F1 next year, which will give the US two constructors and 4 drivers.

Not a big f1 fan but I’m happy that Cadillac will be in f1. Even though I’m not a fan of his I do wonder if that gives hope to Colten Herta being able to go to F1 eventually (with an Indycar championship/enough Super License points) or if that ship has sailed.

Penske has done a nice job with Indycar. It’s great to see 250K at the 500 again.

I'm toying with the idea of going to COTA on SC weekend. My kid's Godfather is a big wig with Aston Martin F1.

The best move is probably Vegas F1 the weekend ND has Syracuse at home.

Want to take advantage while I can cuz as soon as Real Madrid or Barcelona calls... he gone.

Na$car showing off once again how to be a joke governing body. Bubba and Chase Elliot both were suspended a race for intentionally hooking someone in the right rear. Austin Cendric does it at COTA and only gets fined and points deducted. They reason the slower speed on a road course wasn't as dangerous. Go from boys have at it....to can't right rear someone...to its ok, it's on a road course so it's slower speeds

This is why Dirt Racing is King. Let the racers and teams duke it out in the pits with the fans standing around. Can’t wait for dirt season to start here in the North.

Been busy and haven’t posted here but Indycar season has started and it looks like we will be having..more of the same with Alex Palou’s victory. Amazing drive from Scott Dixon finishing 2nd without a radio.

Oh yeah! Any sprints. Best drivers in the world. I think it shows how great both Larson and Bell have been since coming to NASCAR. Larson and race and win anything and same with Bell. When you see other pavement drivers try to make the jump from asphalt to dirt it doesn’t correlate.

80 days.

I’m thinking about going this year. I’ve been lucky with some bomb ass tickets…

Three times sat at the top of turn 3 which is literally the only place where you can see the whole track.

Twice VIP through work where I sat behind Sarah Fisher pit. Close to the pit/finish line. The perks were great…all you can eat, drink, and they even drew a caricature of me.

Snake pit at least a handful of times.

And at least 15 Carb Days even though it’s even a while.

I use to get to sprint cars out here in Australia but it seems like the competition is not run any more.

That’s too bad. I know Larson, some of the outlaws, and others like Rico go down in the winter to Perth and other speedways. The clips I’ve seen always seems like some good racing. You guys who come to the states are always fun to watch and usually do pretty well on tour.

I always loved the smell at sprint cars. It made me want to grunt.

Good wins for him. Better than a JGR turd at Darlington
I like Chase but Tyler Reddick used to live in the same town I live in & his second place finish made the evening feel even more like a kick in the balls.

I hate the nascar points format especially since now the most consistent driver of the year can’t even race for the title next week.
