Are you MMFF? Hello Coach.Joanna's pretty dreamy.
That’s would be wild if Marcus had a burner account. If true, I’m making burgers and Mac and cheese for my kids tonight if you want to walk over and become friends. Are you MMFF? Hello Coach.
Just cut through the wood line to the west. I’ll be the big, jolly fella in the front yard watching my 3 boys playing trench warfare and setting up sharpened punji sticks.Just a short stroll down Park Ridge, eh?
Coaches did want Nike. Badly. One of Freeman's first meetings after becoming coach was a sales pitch from themHow the hell did that reup happen? Was told majority of coaches wanted Nike..
Nike not come through with a remotely close enough package? (Obviously UA offered most money) No way that deal lasts the entire contract.
See my above reference to Loy....Give us the scoop on Lonergan lol what did she do that caused folks to have beef with her in the gug

UA's offer was "larger" than Nike's final....but both were close. Swarbrick gave UA the last bite at the apple...even though maybe he shouldn't have and Nike was a bit over the constant back and forth.
UA basically mortgaged their future as a company on ND. They gave ND a lot more ownership stake and power in terms of what they could tell UA to do or not do. Dollar for Dollar Nike offered more...but the fringe benefits/investment UA offered (hypothetical future earnings) pushed UA's deal "over the top"
BigMercke might have some more details but those are the cliffsnotes(as best I can recall them)yuck
was Swarbrick's son's position at UA significant in the decision?Coaches did want Nike. Badly. One of Freeman's first meetings after becoming coach was a sales pitch from them

Honestly...I don't think so.was Swarbrick's son's position at UA significant in the decision?
Pretty much this...always felt like a narrative that wasn't really well thought out by people who just hated Swarbrick at the end.Yeah Jack's son having a job doesn't move the needle imo. Who's to say now that Jack is gone UA doesn't get rid of him? That was always a possibility because everyone knew that Jack was leaving soon.
Somebody help me on this one lol-Has their been discussions about planning the peacock only game properly? The fact that the Louisville game was peacock only was ridiculous to me.
-How many analysts roles are we looking to fill?
-Do you think we still pull a high profile DPP/DoR?
DPP - Director of Player PersonnelSomebody help me on this one lol
@Merckxe525 With the optimism regarding Freeman and all the national attention he is currently getting, are you/others concerned at all about him leaving for Ohio State if Day leaves or for an NFL team? Was there any substance to the rumors about him and the Bears this offseason?- There will be a statue of Marcus Freeman outside the stadium by the time he leaves ND.
- Nobody will ever see the exact numbers, but in reality, ND is the most profitable, valuable football program in the country.
- It won't look flashy, but the new facilities will not only be the best in the country when finished, they will remain so for several years.
- Carr is going to break every meaningful QB record in ND history.
Happy to hear that. Thank you!No, I have no concerns about Freeman leaving for Ohio State. There was never anything of substance with the Bears.

Wasn't Freeman interested in A&M when they were looking or was that all rumors? No, I have no concerns about Freeman leaving for Ohio State. There was never anything of substance with the Bears.
You’re giving koon too much creditI'm still expecting this thread to reveal itself as Koon's greatest troll.

Nike has much better gear for old guys like us. I hate the fit of most under armor stuff....shows my growing beer storage unitI don’t think the clothing brand matters as much as it did a decade ago, but maybe I’m getting old.
