It’s the fact that is what he chooses to focus on and steers the discussion in that direction which is disturbing, kind of like when he went off the rails and declared he was gonna build a resort in Gaza or whatever.
So the guy rambles and goes off script. Saying that is his focus is so out of context which you guys pounce on to make the headline. Reports are suggesting the Middle East now wants to be the ones investing money into Gaza. So it’s not as of dumb comment you want it to be.

incredible speech for those with the time to listen. Starts about 19 minutes into the video

lol Putin told Trump/Vance he's not happy about the Romanian election result cancellation. It's so transparent, these guys are just reading out his bullet points.

I forget. Did you post your outrage when Biden was on his pardon spree?

Interesting that he's a Dem and Trump wants them to drop the charges (although Trump denies it). Regardless, his case should go through the trial process. There's a lot of questionable acts on his part.

Oh ok. The what about game.

“Conservatives” were all about “the rule of law” until they were not.

I’m not saying it’s his focus per se. Who knows what his focus is?

What I am saying is that during his incoherent rambling the off the wall things he says becomes the focus because he is in charge. In that sense he’s not a very effective communicator.

I do however, think he does that on purpose to create plausible deniability. He just talks in circles and throws out a lot of “maybes” and “who knows” and if things work out he jumps in to take credit. If they go sideways he throws someone else under the bus.

As to Gaza, we shall see at noon on Saturday I suppose. Things ain’t looking so great for the ceasefire.

cant even imagine being a US soldier and being told they are going to be deployed to Gaza to fight for Zionism and then die needlessly

I imagine that announcement about the US owning Gaza makes for a a pretty good Jihadi recruiting video.

So all that to say… he’s not an affective communicator. Check

All that. Ok, sure.

He’s not an effective communicator and here’s why I think that. Seems reasonable to discuss ideas on a discussion board.

Some saw the Adams case as retaliation by the weaponized Biden regime to Adams for speaking out against Biden's immigration disaster. Not sure if they had gold bars here. They could have. I haven't reviewed the case files, but there was some skepticism here given the zero credibility of the Biden DOJ.
Eric Adams has been a corrupt piece of shit at every stage of his career.

Some saw…lol.

The lead prosecutor who just quit in protest of this decision was a recent Trump appointee, member of the Federalist Society, etc…

The way you’re framing this is straight up gaslighting.

FedSoc is not exclusively conservative. I'm just saying that some thought it was retaliation.

How we feeling about the AP being banned from the White House? Curious if anyone feels this is smart and why.

So only when it fits your side. Got it.

Funny that I agree about Adams and there you go. I think you just like to argue.

For a guy that is an incoherent rambler he sure gets his point across to the libs. Why else would all of you be reacting like you do?

AP has zero credibility, so doesn't bother me. I would have picked an issue they have misrepresented more substantial than the Gulf of America to dig in on.

It’s immature and childish sure for the White House to kick out the AP. Not sure if I would call it a free speech violation but not something I’m a fan of

The same crowd who thought Twitter (not the government) enforcing it's TOS was silencing conservatives (those pesky conservative values stifled again!), they're going to criticize the WH (the government) for kicking out the AP? I think I remember Twitter was the state run media for the uniparty, but now that it's owned by the guy who runs DOGE (the government) it's not state run media? Very straight forward logic to follow lol

Twitter targetted and suppressed conservatives while ignoring its TOS for left-leaning or far-left accounts. Huge difference.

You’re being disingenuous in claiming I have a “side” as it relates to the current democrats and republicans in power. You are right in that I do like to argue. Lol.

Look, I’ve repeatedly been critical of Nancy Pelosi (I’ve volunteered for the campaign of the fellow who’s going to run against her in the next cycle), Barack Obama, the Clintons, Joe Biden and the neoliberal wrecking ball.

Generally speaking, I hate all of the rich twats who currently horde power, particularly the tech bros. I also generally dislike people who are cheerleaders for these twats.

The question then becomes how do you rein in the power of all these rich twats?

I would say giving that group more financial power vis a vis tax cuts, more economic power by cutting regulations as they see fit and more political power by allowing them to dump money into elections largely unchecked and or making them “special government employees” are all really bad ideas that increase that groups power.

“Conservatives” on the other hand seem to think those are all good ideas.

Based on that it seems to me that at present “conservatives” want to live in some sort of modern day feudal system controlled by corporate oligarchs who are accountable to no one.

That sounds pretty shitty to me.

Right, it was because they were conservatives lol
Are there any leftists being silenced or removed from twitter since Musk took over? Answer is no.

The batshit lefties who were mad about conservatives having the same access to free speech left for bluesky, and no one cares.

Yeah, all they had to do was just ignore them when they raised their hand.

Id imagine the steel and aluminum tariffs are going to hammer the craft beer industry in the US.
