i'm not sure if this is true, but i've read many times that he wasn't much of a recruiter. so if recruiting is not his thing, i doubt head coaching position is something he's after.

I am all right with 2-3 years if thats how long he stays. I like the help and the way CW broke it down- a full week between CW, CB and JT talking over the relationship. Who knows haw it will shake out. I just have high expectations it will go well.

I watched wednesdays practice on UND.com. Tenuta is one hard-nosed coach. he doesn't express a lot of emotion, but he cusses a whole heck of a lot and definately has the immediate respect of every LineBacker. Even Maurice Crum was silenced and gave a "yes sir" on occassion. I'm fired up about Tenuta. He also made sure the player were showing full intensity during ever drill. No half speed crap. Good to see.

Thats why there has to be the right mix to play for certain coaches, and CW is smart enough w CB to bring him in here- knowing the players they have recruited here can grow under Tenuta. Some primadonna players at other schools might not be able to handle the pressure he brings. I believe these players can and will perform for the man.

I hope JT, Haywood, and CW are all gone in the next 2-3 years to get head coaching jobs! If that happens it usually means we kicked some a$$!!! I do not see any of them with ND in 2 years...I mean after you win a national championship as a DC or OC colleges want you as a head coach.
