I truly hope so but when your starting rotation is Yoshi Yamamoto, Jack Flaherty, Walker Buehler & pray then you’re in trouble. I don’t know what Sean Manea did to turn his game around but he shoved against LA in game 2 so tomorrow should be tough for LA hitters.

I went to school in Ohio and became very aware of the love those fans had for the tribe. Awesome people and fan base. My Cleveland friends took me to the Jake when it opened. That is a damn good young team that isn’t going anywhere for a while. Great season for the Indians, it’s just a lot to get through that Yankee lineup when they’re hot.

The yanks are strong as heck and we got them at the wrong time. They came in hot and have stayed hot. Regardless, you have the better team but I’m excited to see where the Guards go from here!

This is probably the last World Series my 93 year old grandfather will see as his health has not been well in the last six months. He's been a big Indians/Guardians fan. I talked to him over the weekend and he had this absolute classic:

"Hey, I was around in 1948, so I feel fortunate compared to a lot of people who never got to see a World Series for Cleveland. I'm also 93 so I'm used to the goddamned Yankees always winning."

Grandpap is Him.
