Sunday afternoon, I was told by folks on the Auburn side that Ole Miss was emerging as a serious threat to land DK. I was hesitant to post due to the emotions post-loss. You cannot always trust 100% of what you are told 24-48 hours after something like the Arkansas loss happens.



Anyway, I have been able to confirm with nearly everyone I talk to on the Auburn side that OM is surging. I'd say the chances of DK showing up this weekend are 50%. If he does not show, I'd let him fade from your memory.



At this time, I still am hearing about Juju from some sources as well as KJ Lacey and Nickel from others.

While I fully expect Deuce to end up at Ole Miss, I suspect the Ole Miss chatter on the part of the Auburn site is disingenuous.

Its easier to pretend like there is a new threat emerging rather than just saying that they have been blowing smoke this whole time.

Reading the tea leaves from what the insiders posted there, sounds like JuJu wants in and has been reaching out to Auburn ALOT, Auburn hasn't reciprocated the interest because they want Deuce. Sounds like they are giving Deuce the ultimatum this weekend that he needs to commit before Thursday and shut everything down or they are moving onto JuJu. This isn't in the tea leaves but he is set to visit ND for Stanford so I think they set that date to stop him from coming back to ND

I can't fathom how Auburn is in a position to supposedly "pick and choose" between 2 5-star QBs, when their on-field product on offense has been absolute garbage under Freeze so far.

In the NIL world you have people that only see dollar signs. Not hard to see how this happens. Just hope it keeps blowing in people faces. So it’ll bring the NIL into reasonable money and better school selection.
