Do we think this offer has anything to do with Mikhail? Is he the latest Bobbie Howard/Roby Toma?

From the On3 boards via Kyle Kelly:

In the process of scheduling OV for June 7-9. He hopes to visit for a multiple day mid-week unofficial beforehand.

Kelly believes ND would have a good shot if they pushed for him.

That’s quite the leap, put up. Money bags game probably for these receivers

Got a bump to #192 overall on 247. Not a bad back up plan.

IMO he's a solid WR but we really need some actual upside talent at WR in this class, currently we really don't have any committed in the 25 class. We're in on a few others with much higher upside.

Outside of Meadows, I'd put Robinson up with anyone else in terms of upside. His speed flashes on film at wr and clips of him playing corner look eerily similar to Cam Hart.

I think meadows Taylor and Hines have significantly more upside

The current state of this WR class has me happy that we have the portal as an option now. I just like … don’t see it with any of them. Maybe I’ll be wrong.

Not worried about 2025 I think the freshman class this year is elite

While I share this sentiment about the '24 class, it's important to keep stacking great classes. One injury, one transfer, and one not panning out, there could be a sudden hole. You never want to have a talent gap, especially in ND's case where it's highly unlikely they would be able to add a talented undergraduate in the transfer portal.

There is some talent out there for ND. They just need to close.

They do but they decided to fill up the WR class with "projects" at the position instead of waiting a little longer on more "Elite" or higher end recruits. Gives some cause to pause while others see it as no challenge.

ISD has implied staff has moved him up the board above everyone except Meadows.
If you close with Robinson/Hines or Meadows/Hines it really takes this class from a C to possibly B+/A-

After a big SR season and his measurables at camps, I think he finishes as a Top 100 and possibly Top 75 recruit.

I don’t see the upside/high potential… seems to have average speed to me and not much agility/moves after catch

But then again maybe he develops physically and has a Micah Gilbert sr year … Hines meadows Taylor already show the upside

Robinson is better than Taylor and Hines ya hoser
Will you say that if we land hines and meadows and not robinson?

There's a reason everyone has offered taylor, hines, meadows, and robinson has a sub par offer list. Not just my opinion.

I would take Meadows over all them but Robinson before Hines. I would be happy with landing Meadows and Hines though

That's my question also. 2025 WR class needs to improve. Carr and Deuce should be appealing to WR recruits. Why oh why aren't they?

Well, like someone said above, they filled most of the spots with players they were obligated to offer or saw something most of us don't see in during their evaluations. At least we have the portal to fill these holes in a few years.

Terry was an appealing prospect who is underrated due to size and lack of long speed. The other guys were moreso recruited because of their bloodlines, just never thought I would see a case of ever taking 3 under the radar guys at one position at a school like ND.

Robinson has the versatility to play on both sides of the ball (WR/S) and very good measurables, Hines has the gamebreaking ELITE speed that continues to avoid us at the position, not to mention the most productive of the recruits. Meadows has #1 Star potential and very good measurables as well, but his production doesn't match his rankings at this point.

Agree with all of this depending on what you mean by "very good measuerables"... I like his size for WR, but not his speed or agility or quickness. Whatever term someone prefers.

Robinson isn't a bad prospect, but he's the joe wilkins type IMO that should be our lower level ( we have 2 IMO actually worse than him already committed).

When a child of a top player to do it in college and the NFL doesn't have good offer lists that should be concerning even without looking at the film. Everyone in the industry had their eyes on them from an earlier age than normal and don't see the potential (top schools that is other than ND). We have two of them, at the same position. Not to kick a dead horse, but you just can not take robinson after having those two. I'd prefer him over those two (so this isn't a complete knock on robinson). Save the darn scholarship if you can't land better. Having 4-5 mediocre at best WRs takes up valuable space.

6'3 195lbs, League Champ in 100m and 200m running 10.8 and 21.9 already in his 2nd year of Track. He's plenty fast and he was a stud on defense in limited reps 5 INTS in 5 games on D. He's definitely a better prospect than any of the commits and has a higher ceiling even though I like Terry's floor as a WR/Return Man. He's much much better than Joe Wilkims who I liken to the other commits with the exception of Shaun Terry. Wilkins was rated around #75 at WR and he caught for about 600yds as a SR.
