Let the click-bait posts begin! This is reasonable tho' and pretty much is everyone mentioned here so far from the top (Denbrock) on down (promoting GG)

Notable stat from Sampson:

LSU led the nation in scoring, yards per carry, pass efficiency and yards per play in 2023.

It won’t be a money issue for Denbrock. There are donors that will cut that check just to screw with BK. I can tell you for a fact that Rees got $$$ in no small part because retaining him also meant he didn’t go with Kelly. Kelly thought both Rees and Freeman were gonna come with him.

The way podcast are talking about him, is he really liked his time at ND.

How would you guys feel about a guy who is already familiar with the roster and just happened to be the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys?

Well this would be something.

I'm already married to the Denbrock hire, but I like safe marriages.

Hartline is like a bad boy who could deliver me my wildest dreams to finally be royalty... but he's also the one who gets me chased into a tunnel.

(I know I'm mixing my metaphors and analogies but I'm all confused)

I like Denbrock, but I doubt he leaves Brian Kelly. I get CFB is a business, but these guys have a long track record together.
Maybe he wants to get back at Kelly for firing him after the 2016 season? He wasn’t one of Kelly’s top choices for OC at LSU either.

Apparently ND uses FlexJet as its PJ vendor and this is NetJets so that could cast doubt. lol at the investigative footwork going into this

It's highly unlikely that Denbrock has actually signed his extension this soon. No respectable agent would let him do that, because you never know what craziness comes down the pipe during this time of year.

I think ND is in a better spot to nab Denbrock from LSU than A&M was. Sure, money is important, but I think Denbrock wants to be in the midwest. He's a midwest guy and he really likes ND. He's spent more time here than any other school and he's pushing 60. And yeah, I can definitely see ND ponying up the money for this, because A) they don't want this to be another public embarrassment like the Ludwig fiasco was, and B) Because f*ck Kelly.

😂

In all seriousness, would you want him? Do you think ND should go younger? You can search my posts in the past…I’m skeptical on Denbrock. He had the best QB in the CFB, the best WR in CFB, another badass WR, and some very solid backs…I’m not so sure how much it was him / his scheme as opposed to the talent. I could be very wrong though. Who knows?

Appreciate it. Is that a good thing? I would think it'd be far more important to get someone established. If we had an open receiver/co-OC type position for him that would be one thing but do we want Hartline as an OC?
Personally, I'd want Denbrock over Hartline. But we know what we'd get with Denbrock. High floor hire. Hartline is the low floor, huge ceiling hire. We know the guy can recruit at a lights out level. Can he coordinate an offense at a high level? No idea. If he's successful at ND, I figure Hartline would probably be gone in a couple of years to head coaching job somewhere as he's a rising star. If you value having a coach for several years for continuity, Denbrock is the guy. But if MF really thinks Hartline is the guy, then he's going to either hit a homer or strike out hard

Age and experience might be more helpful here, like Golden. We already have the young high risk/high reward guy, as HC.
That's where I'm at. Have MF hire experienced dudes you can trust to handle their side of the ball. Let MF handle recruiting and the overall team aspect. Worked for Dabo at Clemson. A good leader knows when to delegate effectively. Denbrock could be our Golden on the offensive side.

Denbrock is a solid choice with a lot of experience who’s shown he can adapt schematically based on personnel. I also like that he loves ND and at this point isn’t a HC candidate. Some consistency would be a good thing for the program. Most importantly it sticks it to that fat purple faced slob in Baton Rouge. So that’s always a good thing.
