A month ago Big Dick Tom made a post stating that "ND was all in and going for it in 2024." In reference to the portal. He was in fact correct. I've hated on the little nerd for years, but I have become a fan of Tom Loy!

He nailed this whole thing, compared to ISD rarely mentioning anything.

I will update OP but yeah essentially the most interest is from Banks, Oben, and Jeter. An OT is likely but TBD.

Ryan Day threw out a number of around $13m per year I believe. I think its safe to say that ND is spending with the big boys now.

Word is the portal is loaded with talent everywhere except OLine.
So getting an OT who is actually an upgrade may be difficult

Don't forget players on the roster get paid as well. I think it was Mike Frank that said ND players are paid very well. It's not just for the heavy hitters.

I would assume it's a massive balance, invested in a way that allows a conservative 4% withdrawal to cover these payments. Day's $13M per year request seems pretty high as it would require a half billion dollar account but honestly, he may not be that far off if every 85 scholarship player is getting $25k - $50k and then recruiting, transfers, and keeping studs on the roster.
