Wasn’t a stipulation for the new coach was to retain the DL coach? I’ve heard the offered him a ridiculous contract to stay but he decided to bounce to Syracuse.

How many starters are out at A&M now? Prister was adamant ND would easily be a betting underdog at A&M to open. I’m not so sure.

He’ll change his tune come game week but I won’t. I think TAMU will have the edge due to Elko. Assuming ND secures Riley Leonard, I can’t think of a better coach to defend Leonard than Elko. Throw in the opener being in College Station w/ a lot of new offensive pieces & an OC under fire and I think it’s a safe bet to give TAMU the advantage.

A&M had *six* 5-star DL in the 2022 class.

Two have transfered and they will probably be the best defense ND has faced in Freeman's HC career and will likely be favored against us.
