No reason to take guys like this that could've been by one of our own like Nana. ND doesn't need solid pickups, they had that. Unless it's about depth these transfer pickups need to lottery tickets prospects ie traits, traits traits. If it's about depth you'd keep Nana, go with youth with the traits that they've been recruiting, if a stud comes along great get if possible? But the more likely route is that you go for the boom or bust types with elite traits.

It's great, but also if you don't dress as a freshman it won't show. In this case, Mitchell's stats begin in '20, but he actually redshirted in '19. He only has one year left.

He would be my first choice, personally. I was thinking he must be a grad transfer to enter now but it hit me that guys at programs who just lost a HC can also hit the portal right now. So maybe ND can't take him, IDK.

It is insane. I am going to have to learn to embrace and relish in the fresh excitement of this new era of college football. I'm an old guy so it might take me a minute...

I don't think there will ever be another offseason like the one we are entering this winter. There are still a bunch of upperclassmen floating around with their extra Covid year and the collectives have now gotten up and running.

Riley Leonard is about a done deal. Just a matter of time before he announces his most recent follows Flores, Greathouse, the DE who’s transferring from Miami. Kris Mitch WR transfer target. He also followed Jordan Clark from Arizona State wonder if he plans on entering the portal? I think the staff already got a verbal from Leonard and he’s recruiting guys for them.

Maybe he can recruit his teammate Graham Barton to withdraw from the Senior Bowl and come with him. We'll need a LT.
