If you really want a good laugh go to the PSU boards. They are pretty much divided. Many of them are not mad at Deion but instead they are mad at their coaching staff and they want a new one. One guy even made the statement...

Deion wasn't a PSU kind of guy anyway...

The rest of them are trying to claim that Deion's emotions didn't stem from joy or relief, but out of sorrow because his parents made him choose ND and that this one is far from over. Some are even garunteeing that he'll sign with PSU. If that weren't enough some of those guys are claiming ND fans are delusional if they think this one is over. But we're the ones that are delusional, right...

I think that Parris is talented, but with the WR group coming in (and Tate and DK already there), I think that Parris better practice his special team skills.

-------That's some pretty harsh words for a kid that was an f'n So. last year. Do you remember what Shark did his So. year? Nothing and if you really want to rely on incoming freshman every year because of their rankings well then you're going to be dissapointed because the coaching staff doesn't see it that way.

They sure did the past year lol. I think Clausen,tate, duval, allen and smith were freshman. didnt they start? Yeah they did.

A. Benn played pretty well as a freshman as well. I don't view it as harsh, simply reality. Shark was a great player, but don't forget that there was also no one else on the team that could have overtaken him for playing time (once McKnight got hurt 2 years ago). I think that it will be tougher for Parris to see PT. CW has clearly shown a willingness to play freshman, and Floyd for one is something special.

The difference that seperates the Shark from every one else is that his hands were unmatched. He had to wait for his athletic ability to catch up to him. That's why we didn't see him early in his career. Paris on the other hand is a very fine athlete with average hands. I think he is overrated and being given the label of "shark jr" isn't accurate.

Lighten up bro. He is just excited about our WR talent...Yea Jeff S wasn't much til CW got here....but why even compare Parris 2 him? He had the dropsies last season and as I recall Shark didn't get much of a shot. He could contribute but as a pure talent standpoint, I see Duval, Tate, Floyd, and Walker starting over him...All this talent at WR is crazy...Its a great problem to have...

Unofficial visits to hang out with friends. McCarthy did the same thing this year. There's only a month untill NSD. I think ND will be alright, they just need to stay in contact with their recruits and they should be able to hold off any other schools.

i listened to the audio and he twice said "i'm confident in my decision."

the major factor in his decision was the academics. so unless PSU all of a sudden joins the Ivy league, I don't think he would change his mind.

he also said i might be taking some unofficials to see friends, but not any officials.

for anyone who is concerned by the idea that he might take unofficial visits, listen to the audio. you get a different impression after hearing his interview.

He is a bright kid who disected this process from start to finish. Plus he took unofficials to about 20 colleges. He's IRISH

yeah, no worries now. he's not the type of kid to lead a program along and then diss them in the 11th hour. i just can't wait for monday morning so i can laugh at my PSU colleagues.

Lets enjoy his committment!! He is IRISH. I think it came dow n2 who is gonna be throwing him the ball...Morelli??? haha. Or Clausen an Crist?? Hmmm...to go along with the fact the CW likes to throw the ball and Joe Pa well is like 95, though I do seriously respect all that he has done, he just needs to retire..there comes a time in every mans life 2 hang them up.....

weekendatbernies paterno isn't really with us anymore. he's been propped up on that sideline for years. they seriously need a change or they're going to risk a major setback on the talent front, but who really gives a flying ^&(7 about PSU. GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say we let PSU roll around in a pity party, we got the guy we needed....and I'm not gonna spend one minute worried about who won't be there in the end. Our group is solid, kinda.

In response to someone earlier, who mentioned Parris being only a soph. The light hadn't came on for him yet, and it better this spring because if it doesn't he is going to be lost in the shuffle like numerous others. Weis will definately play the best players at the position, and if we have two freshman starting, then I'm sure they more than deserved it.
