Pointing to one play like it was the difference in this game is dumb. The play calling on the last drive sucked. Dropping the pick on the last defensive drive was a gut punch. Yanking the FG was big. Not picking up either first down on 4th and 1 sucked. There were so many plays that could/should have been the difference for ND and not one of them happened. It's not a "we're just unlucky" thing, it's an "everyone needs to be better at their job" thing.

What's sad is that I'm starting to realize that apathy is setting in.

A loss like this would've broken me in two, and yeah, I was anxious and I was in absolute misery when it happened, but 5-10 minutes passed and now I just don't feel much of anything.

It's truly sad that we are at the point where this kind of gut-wrenching loss is expected and my body has just reached the point where it's used to the heartache and fills my mind with apathy.

Still love ND, but man, does this really blow to realize.
