Yeah I crack up when I see all the hate narratives,… everyone was curious and interested but even those I saw predicting a tough year were openly stating he’d turn it around at some point. This, ‘everyone wants him to fail’ stuff is another in a long line of made up narratives
Reminds me of the narratives UGA tries to concoct to say writers still don’t respect them.

TBF, I never took it as hate vs Prime & Co. when they took over CU b/c they were taking over a dumpster fire so even had they brought in Saban, predicting anything more than 6-6 would be hard see. Now after games have actually been played, 6-6 looks very attainable. Helluva job regardless.

man Matt Ruehl must be feeling some heat. He was whining about Sanders last month and then got bitch slapped by him.

Sure he is. Think Ruhle gets a long time at the job to attempt the turnaround barring a complete failure. Not sure Nebraska can become elite again honestly, as the Ruhle era there is not off to a great start.

Lindy's had CU last in the Pac 12 and Athlon picked them 10th. That could still hold, but I doubt very many people had them starting 2-0 at TCU and home to Nebraska. Regardless of whether they love or hate CU right now.

Dylan Edwards didn't have anywhere near the explosive game he did at TCU. This teams will ride or die with their QB1 this season.

All those Coaches like Matt Rhule need to take notes. Deon is really laying out a playbook for how to turn around a program if you are an outspoken, former NFL megastar with a giant media personality, that ESPN wants to cover every moment of the day.

Its about charisma and ratings. The clicks he gets is more than the clicks Rhule and others get. Deion is a GOAT and a Mega Star. Not many will be able to replicate that playbook. And that is why Ruhle and others are butt hurt. Deion has selected a superior staff and he can coach too. There is steak with the sizzle.

This is locker room cliche stuff that's been happening for two decades from the NFL down to Pop Warner and Pee Wee levels of football. "us against the world" and all that nonsense.

It's why every time someone posts something about this guy or that guy "having a chip on his shoulder", I immediately chuckle. It's nothing if not hilarious. Toddlers and teenage girls don't get slighted anywhere near as much as alpha dudes playing American Football.

I didn't see CU get picked higher than 10th in the PAC 12 preseason polls and magazines, but at some point you've just gotta roll on and forget it. You've doubled last year's win total and just about everyone has been talking about how pretty you are the last two weeks.

Let it go.

There is no story here. The Ravens danced on the Titans logo. MSU planted a flag at ND in 2005. I'm sure there are multiple examples of this that can be cited.

This was not anywhere near either of these things.

Initially not sure this was going to a good place…. Of course no discussion of Freeman who acts very different than Prime.

I just hate to hear all the we vs. they talk……I understand it but I think it sends a bad message. If I spoke like that, I would immediately be labeled a racist. Personally, I think coaches (or any type of celebrity/personality) that present themselves with a huge braggadocio type approach will immediately polarize people. It’s attractive to some people but an absolute turnoff to others.

If prime wanted to make matches personal well he’s getting it now. No fake outrage anymore

I'll be totally honest: I don't, but I make an attempt to try before I begin to feel aggrieved in some way.

There are 14 black FBS head coaches, so if you or I spoke like that, we'd be in the majority and there wouldn't be any reason for us to speak like that to begin with.

CSU in trouble lol

This is a "grownup" comment?

I hope CU goes for 2 in the fourth quarter when they're already up big. If it was funny when Harbaugh did it to Poodle, I'd say this warrants it being funny from where I'm sitting having seen this.
