IB reported they talked to multiple sources & Rushing didn’t bond with the commits at all and they were told this one isn’t happening to scratch him off the list.
Typically means they are all about themselves first and team second. If true, tell him to kick the can on down the road.

It is odd that he had been on campus before so should have had some idea of what we are. Then on the official is just an FU level of miserable.

I heard his dad had a 1 on 1 with freeman about NIL so maybe they were looking for upfront promises

Yeah that is clearly the case but feel like they coulda got the answer to that over then instead of going half way across the country to mope around and look like someone stole his puppy at some school he supposedly at least respected big recruiting weekend

Let me put it this way. What if I dm Acamp and I say “look here now I got a sandy free acre, hows about you come over and show me how to grown green chilies.” And as we all know his fee for imparting such wisdom is one Miss Hayak hog tied to a butchers block. And then I am clear that look here I have no Hayak spread eagle on fine linens let alone the fetish he would require. In fact everyone knows I only obtain chubby sluts bc I am lazy and they seldom say no to the various sodomist activities I enjoy. If Acamp comes to teach me the way of the chili it would be a dick move to then demand a prostrate Hayak, correct?

I asked an AZ guy who's tied in on the street & 7v7 and he replied... ND can't afford him bro. I responded, ...won't afford him and gotta 100 back.

He originally thought ND led by a lot. So did one industry guy here.

I'm still surprised that there isn't one uber wealthy booster who is dropping bags for recruits. Given how that happens all the time with SEC schools, it's not like the NCAA would do anything about it.

His father had a one on one conversation with Freeman and without Elijah, about NIL.
Just to be clear, do we think this means he was looking for a personal upfront payout, or was he trying to understand what future NIL opportunities there were at ND. I think I know but wanted to be sure.

Notre Dame should have more alumni millionaires and billionaires than any school along with very wealthy business owners NIL should not be a problem

LOL. This isn't even close to reality.

I'm sure ND has it's fair share of millionaires, but they aren't anywhere close to the top. Stanford is pretty close to the top. I guess they should be leading the NIL game.

Stanford doesn’t care about football.

ND is football, as much as the admin and BoT hate it.

My assumption would be they weren’t talking about perfectly legal NIL opportunities when on campus. Would seem odd to exclude Elijah from that conversation.

Of course there are stats.

Notre Dame has about 2,800 alumni who are worth $30 million or more (which seems sufficient to help fund a competitive NIL program).
That's 16th among US universities, though most of those don't play big-time football. Of the ones who do, Stanford, Northwestern, USC, Texas, UCLA and Michigan have more than we do.

Yes, I looked at the stats. ND has it's fair share of millionaires, but 2008's statement had no basis in reality.

Priester had an interesting comment recently with regards to up front NIL. He said FUND wouldn't do it and that it would have to be through a different collective.
Anyone know of any other ND collectives other than FUND?

Agreed. I've never heard of a "billionaire" associated with Notre Dame. And frankly not all that many titans of industry either. Notre Dame does a great job pumping out consultants and engineers and finance types who make nice six-figure salaries, but that's not really what we're talking about here.

ND Admin wouldn't admit them (or suspend them, kick them out of school) so no ND alum with $ is going to waste it for that.
