This is one of the most horrifying news stories I’ve read in a long time…maybe ever. WARNING: graphic details of the horrific crimes detailed in this article.

Appears to be a couple of despicable human beings who need to be put under the prison. The media ignoring this is not a surprise but it should be made very public to mitigate similar situations in the future. Now the two adopted boys are ruined, it is unlikely they will ever enjoy a “normal” life in the future.

That’s what I keep going back to…those two kids are damaged for life both physically & mentally. I wouldn’t wish anything those poor kids went through on my worst enemy. Imagine their innocent excitement to be told they were getting adopted by a young couple and they would form a loving family? Sick.

I always figured A&W was a Canadian franchise; the brutal marketing + niche product specialty "ouuuu rootbeer!" + average food.

How the hell does it survive in a land with infinitely better options? It is criminal it's allowed to operate in the US.

See it’s working! We are talking about A&W and I’m craving a cheeseburger & a frosty mug

I’m not an attorney but I know there are some on here. I stumbled across this on YouTube regarding TicketMaster and the exorbitant fees that come w/ buying a ticket to a major concert. Does this guy make sense w/ his initial suggestions on fixing the problem? Now I realize for the partisans on here, there is the urge to disagree b/c u hate everything this man’s party proposes. But…setting that aside…is this a good start to fixing the problem? If not, what are some better ideas?

Isn't it just a FTC/DOJ matter and no one wants to be seen as the Big Regulation person? Asking a corporation to reduce their profits typically doesn't work.

This will be interesting to see how it turns out. It didn't mention if there was any paperwork associated with the original donation. They might rule in the families favor, but I would guess they won't get anything close to the $51M.

Pearl Jam tried to buck the system a while back but didn't make an impact.

Yes and i agree. But he did get the corp guys to agree w/ him on record so who knows? I suspect the corporations like Ticketmaster don’t want to mess w/ the issue & expense of removing the “middle man” or bots but they did agree to the face value being non-transferable unless price was same.
