Hard to get much reaction when literally EVERYONE knew that Twitter censored the crap out of that story. Good to have confirmation nonetheless.
I used to wonder how Soviet folks felt living in a failed and corrupt government. Now, I feel like I'm in a banana republic with insane corruption and people are just so complacent that it is whatever.

At least with Twitter moving towards free and open speech, we can get reporting on things that used to be censored. Like schools grooming children-

14-18 year old students.

"The are just passing around dildos and butt plugs. Talking about queer sex. Using lube vs. spit. The kids are just playing with them, looking at them.

"And we had a drag queen come in. Pass out cookies and brownies and do photos."

Meanwhile Toronto is totally cool with this. Because a school should be focused on teaching underage adolescents about butt plugs and dildos.

Toronto - are you a parent? Do you have any kids?

In our curriculum I think it was grade 10/11 where our gym teacher taught us how to put a condom on (using a banana).

If a kid isn't gay they aren't going to want to shove a butt plug/dildo up their ass. I know I sure as hell don't want to. If you're teaching about safe sex in high school it makes sense to include LGBTQ items in there too.

Of course, if you believe that kids shouldn't be taught about sex in high school then I'm sure you'll advocate for removal of all sexual discussion from high schools.

If your mindset is that LGBTQ matters are inherently "grooming" then of course you'll be offended by any mention of their matters.

Not a parent, do you know how expensive it is to raise a kid in DT Toronto? Above my paygrade ATM.

I don't think anyone can argue in good faith that this is solely about agenda-free sex education. Did the dean with painted fingernails invite someone to speak about the values of abstinence? Or the dangers of porn addiction? Or did he only invite people who align with his personal beliefs?

Sex education is fine, but it does not need to include butt plugs, dildos, and drag queens passing out cookies like a free candy van.

That said, since you aren't a parent, you haven't spent enough time around young teenagers to understand how truly underdeveloped their minds are. I cannot imagine one scenario in which a Roblox-playing 14 year old needs to know about a butt plug.

You're making the assumption that having a LGBTQ component was done in bad faith. The only evidence that we can base this on is a quick Project Veritas video.

A gay person having an LGBTQ person speaking about LGBTQ matters makes sense, no? You and I likely wouldn't be good people to vet who is an appropriate speaker on those matters. As we know kids are ruthless, and a gay dean being able to provide something to his LGBTQ students to make them feel comfortable is a good thing.

Idk though I can't make the jump to "this is grooming" because I can't wrap my head around this thought that LGBTQ people are just inanetly groomers.

Do you think the parents were aware of what their kids were doing in school that day?

So that means they're groomers, flawless logic lol.
Glad we agree for once.

Or maybe I should use Toronto's logic.
Toronto claims that a woman is a person who identifies as a woman. Gender is a social construct. It is wrong to deny someone of their identity.
I identify as correct, so therefore I am correct. Being correct is a social construct. It is wrong to deny me of my identify.

When you said I don't understand teenagers, maybe you are correct, because this post reads like it was written by one.

I'm not sure what butt plugs and dildos have to do with sexual education. I dont think that's just a gay thing either. I would be equally disturbed with a speaker or teacher handing out flashlights to teenage boys at school.

It's not a schools job to educate students in kinks. They can teach sex ed in the areas of the reproductive cycle and protection from venereal disease/pregnancy, but that's as far as it needs to go. Butt plugs and dildos should not be part of curriculum.
This is exactly how it should be taught. Given the relatively small percentage that are LGBT if something is going to be taught beyond the basics they should have a separate class for those who classify as such.

Passing around dildos and butt plugs for sex education is like passing around bongs and crack pipes for health class.

Just imagine:
"They are just passing around bongs and crack pipes. Talking about getting high. Using edibles vs. vapor. The kids are just playing with them, looking at them."

It’s a private school. Don’t send your kid there. Problem solved.

How old are your kids, bluto?

For the record, I agree with your statement. School systems and private schools like these are failing kids. Don't send your kids there. Homeschooling is the best option these days if families have that option: if not, families should consider adapting lifestyles - we can't let careers and material goods take priority over our families. Culture is failing our kids, so we should stop supporting the culture.

My kid is 21.

Homeschooling is stupid.

Just my opinion as a parent.

It really depends on the parent and what the alternative is like as far as public school options (If private school isn't available).

Some parents and kids excel with home schooling, but the lazy ones are doing their kids a disservice.

True; I have seen examples of both. But in my experience of being involved in homeschool communities for 15 years across multiple states, I'll say that the lazy ones are in a very small minority.

Bluto's broad sweeping statements calling other groups ignorant without realizing the ignorance of broad sweeping statements is ironically hilarious. The ability to observe and interpret the world with nuance is a sign of intelligence; we teach that in homeschool.

My wife and a few of her sisters were homeschooled. She was the only one that graduated from a college and started a career. The most college the others attained was a short stint through beauty school. The rest wound up in the service industry. Needless to say my wife was the only one that really applied herself in homeschooling, the others were generally not pushed hard and so they didn't put forth more effort than the bare minimum that was required..if that. I do know other families that have done it successfully though, and they're more disciplined than my mother-in-law was.
