This is the WR that there is legit smoke about. Currently committed to Iowa but his Dad played for the 94-95 Husker NC's.

He had some interesting back & forth follows a couple of weeks ago with Polian & Lance. Loy followed the same time and has been hinting about him.

If he drops a CB for him it probably means he's already flipped and they are working out the details.

He had a VERY good year this year in just 7 games posted:

51 rec ... 935 yd ... 10 TD ... 28 car ... 170 yd ... 7 TD

Last year he put up 52/672/8TD in 13 games for the State Champs while playing alongside Rivals 4.5* #60 OA Zavier Betts who is getting serious burn for Nebraska.

Production and film check out.

Ran an 11.34 100m as a Soph. That's ok, not a game changer one way or the other at that age.

Can also play DB

I say keep throwing bodies at DB until we develop a 2-deep similar to our DB and LB corps. We need to get to a place where we can comfortably play 3 corners at the same time, especially with USC and UNC back on tap the next two years.

Loy categorized this as a name that he believes ND will reach out too.

Looks like he was hurt this year average around 20 yards per catch last year for 350 yards total as a freshman. Would have 3 years of eligibility left.

Why does this keep popping up? I ask Iowa fans about it and they don't know of him faking.

It was a soft-tissue injury. Most people don't take those seriously, but they can be nagging and can linger for longer than one would want.

My read was that he sat out. There was definitely plenty of talk from Iowa Twitter/247 board of the same. Faking it is a strong term, I’d guess he was injured and chose to then take his RS since he played last year. Seems a bit convenient he was healthy enough to suit up versus Pops’ old school to end the year too.

Same as some OSU fans will tell you JSN was or wasn’t sitting out.

I guess it wasn't a game he wanted to miss. It's also worth pointing out he only played seven snaps that game, which leads me to believe he was on a snap count. Which can be typical for someone coming back from injury, or is not 100%.
