More like he is aware that the interior OL are mediocre right now and is trying to run outside and generate something. I don't think this is a poorly called game, for the most part. Buchner is a mediocre QB right now and ND doesn't have the WR corp to make a defense respect anything.

It's basically the same limitations as recent ND offenses.

It seems what OSU did to close out the game is exactly what we should have been pursing. Estime was off to a great start and then nothing

Btw Tommy Rees play calling sucked tonight along with the Oline and now the Dline And LBs. The Buchner run calls were mistimed and their were several times where he should have kept the ball. Story’s used his legs to buy time much better than Buchner did. Buchner is by no means the reason we lost but I think Coan gets more yards against this D. BTW Purdue picked up Charles something or other from Iowa and he had about 15 receptions. Got him from the portal. Didn’t we need him. Most of our decent games were big okays that required some sweet catches. Without those we are humiliated. I just hope we cover the spread.

No moral victories. The relative closeness was cause by their first game fuck ups. D line underwheling. Linebackers mehh. Corners and safeties kinda good. O line shit. Correll needs left in ohio. Receivers yuck. Buchner who the hell knows.

i know it doesn't mean much to some but we at least took it to the 4th with a shot to win. don't anybody in the big ten not getting a beatdown by this buckeyes team

Tommy called a scared game.. Buchner had no room to run.. where was Styles? Where was any fluidity in the offense.. frustrating all around.. except the defense. Mostly played great.

OL was a mess.. I’m drunk.. Our offense just looked anemic.. FUK

Interior line was a mess without Patterson. I’ve never been high on Correll. I still think Patterson at C and Kristofic or Spindler at G is a better combination.

Tonight confirms for me that Zeke just ain’t it.

I haven’t been overly impressed with their play either. The D has been solid against an elite offense but we only win with big time plays and we’re not getting those.

Unpopular take:

ND has no chance to win but a score would keep them in the CFP hunt if they win out.

OSU knows ND has to chunk the ball to win so they will be ball hawking Buchner and hope he forces something.

ND needs to mix in the run and put together a scoring drive regardless of time it takes. If Buchner wasn’t a first time starter I wouldn’t state this but it’s time to face reality.

Our WRs need to get open for TB. Yes we gave up on Estime when we should have. You don’t run him wide. I would even suggest getting under center more often. Tommy will probably be flushed out as a fraud who was assisted by Kelly. The DBs for the most part nutted up except for #21
