I’d love it. Just right after he gets Ringo to commit in ‘24 though. I’m not convinced we’d have more luck landing a 4-5 star in’24 though. I think CJ was a unique gift from the heavens. But getting him in campus sooner the better imo.

Not surprising at all. Minchey was my guy so I hope there’s a shot but no noise there from his end this deep into noise towards him seems dire too imo.

I mean, if you're committed to a clown like Narduzzi who has a hard on for thinking ND is fucking with him, wouldn't you want to keep it quiet on your end as well?

Looks like it's down to ND. Baylor and TAMU for Novosad as a ton of 247 CBs are coming in for a 2023 QB named Brock Glenn to OSU.

CJ could very well reclass. Thats my hope anyway. I dont see the point in just taking a warm body at QB for 23'

Austin is good no doubt, but I don't see him as a potential star (I know... who knows?)

I certainly don't see anyone after him as being game changers. I think ND should start - not pushing for the re-class - but helping CJ feel more comfortable with the idea so we can focus on a 24' stud.

I just don’t see a quality portal QB coming here unless TB proves he can’t play or has a severe injury There’s still time, but if they miss out on Minchey and Austin and take another Powlus/Clark type who can’t play that’s an absolutely horrendous look for Tommy and MF, especially the former.

Guess it depends on what your definition of "can't play" is. At the end of the day what matters is what they do when they get on campus (and yes that includes the highly rated players too).

Portal is a permanent part of recruiting until rules are changed. Many QBs are great once they transfer- Joe Burrow please.

Refreshing to know that if the dominoes fall such a way that OSU lands Glenn and Nelson goes to A&M that Rees & Co. couldn't beat out fucking Baylor (a school this kid was apparently all to happy to leave at the alter) for Novasad. Ace recruiting at the position this cycle, once again. Truly. And for everyone saying "oH iTs FiNe, We HaVe CaRr In 24" -- what happens when he's a bust or gets injured and we have to rely on our '23 kid to step in? Oh. Wait. There isn't one. "DoNt WoRrY, wE hAvE aNgELi!" Yeah, I know -- he has moxie. Cool. News flash - just because Tommy "got his guy" in '22, doesn't mean it's good for the program. This boom or bust philosophy for recruiting the QB position is total BS.
