247 moved him up from #206 to #166 and similar to Rhett, kept his rating at a 90. For a guy that ran two fast 40's and national programs that seems a little low. A 6' CB that runs a 4.4-4.5 is a low 4 star? Apparently Gabe Brooks hates the camp 40's.

Not to sound like a hater, but Gabe Brooks has been really poor so far at recruiting analysis in my opinion.

I'm right there with ya. I was very underwhelmed by the comments he gave about Sneed and Moore.

Very analytics driven and since he will never be able to compile all the necessary analytics for all prospects it's just going to be haphazard product, IMO. I get the sense that he'd like it to look like an NFL draft board. Which isn't a terrible idea. But NFL teams have things like the NFL combine, pro days, and millions of dollars to spend on scouting their boards to know if a guy has the right length of arms or not. For 247 to do that, they're just going to end up placing more importance on verified times/measurements/etc that you only get at camps. So, like Rivals, it'll more than likely become a camp circuit ranking which is just stupid.
