lol, it was sad. you never want to see players crying.

There is no crying in Baseball so the can be absolutly NO crying in football.

Miss St's QB was crying after the first 3 games. Everytime he threw a pick, tears, got hurt, tears, lost tears. It was hilarious. I about started crying laughing at him b/c I hate State so much.

Don't miss the big picture here.

Everyone who thinks this team has quit on Weis is being proven wrong. All the doomsday oracles - wrong as well.

If a coach has lost his players, you see that not by guys transfering, you see it by starters moving on. The fact so many 5th year guys came back for this year, it tells you how much they care. The fact a guy like Crum is forgoing NFL money to come back tells you what the true locker room sentiment is.

Exactly what I was thinking. I guess all the turmoil is just a matter of guys being babies in the locker room rather than something bigger within the team.

Its a shame that a program like ND has to deal with crap like that, but even better that we see guys like Crum wanting to come back.

This is what former ND OT Aaron Taylor had to say about it on his blog.

With all due respect to Aaron Taylor........

He was an absolute beast on the offensive line.............15 years ago. Today's kids are different. Not only is there a generational difference, but the kids have different personalities than Taylor's old teammates. The coaches have different personalitites, the whole world of college football has changed quite a bit. He's not there at practice every single day, I'm guessing. He's not in each and every one of the meetings, I'm betting. He is basing his views on a very limited sliver of time observing this year's team. So they aren't the 1992 team? I personally think he should find something positive, yet realistic, to say, or he should STFU. Now that he's a studio guy, he has that "analyst's mentality". He thinks he has to come across with some kind of incredibly insightful analysis, boiled down to one reason for the current situation. I like the guy, but I think that particular blog entry isn't worth much more than the paper it would take to print it.

I hope to see Justin Brown, Lambert, Vernaglia, Junior Jabbie back for next season. I think they have all shown good attitude and effort in their play. Brown is very important on the DL as we will still be young and not very deep. Lambert is solid. Vernaglia is a good player who can play several positions. Jabbie has been a good runner when playing, plus he blocks well.
