Profile updated and pictures added.

If another LB gets offered because things don't work out with the current offers I wouldn't be surprised if Will would be that guy, and then the possibility exsists that he just may commit on the spot.

Irishknight:
Scout.com: The Eight Hour Fit

---This kid reminds of alot of Brian Smith. He isn't gushing over ND quite like Smith was, but you can still tell with an ND offer even during mid-season would probably sway him here. Sounds like a good kid, but with 1 LB offer left and it needs to be used on an OLB I don't see it happening until we start missing out.

Compton, ranked No. 22 in the Midlands by Scout.com, attended the Notre Dame camp earlier this summer and says he grew up following the Irish. "I went to a Catholic school and my teacher would always go to their games and come back with souvenirs likes hats and t-shirts and that's how I started liking them.

Will might be reopening his recruitment along with numerous other NU commits due to the current situation with their program

Whoa. Crazy. I guess we're pretty full at his position, though.

I think it's been said, but at least we're not Nebraska.

They're big names too, Gabbert, Compton, and the OL from CO who's name slipps my mind at the moment.

I'd look at this as a good sign for Notre Dame, if only because it might cause Trevor Robinson to consider Notre Dame more.

I've thought the same. He also will be comming in this weekend for an unofficial visit, and it wasn't that long ago that he said he wasn't planning on taking anymore trips to ND.

Bryce Givens is the guy I was thinking of, and you can add Jonas Gray to the list of guys looking around. It sounds as if he's going to decommit if coaching changes are made. He also said that he still hears from ND on a regular basis.

Jonas is a stud. Ran a 4.37 forty at I believe a Michigan camp.

Do we go after Will? I know that he was the next LB in line if we couldn't get Sabino. I'm sure that he bleeds ND blue and gold and would be a great asset to the team. On the other hand we need help in other places (O-Line). What are your thoughts?

It was at OSU, but I've heard that a lot of coaches/scouts don't like his vision.

I doubt it, I thik if ND was going to offer him they already would have. You don't want to get too many guys at the same position in the same class because then you create a log jam that results in transfers. Plus the more guys ND takes this year, the smaller next year's class will have to be.

I think Jonas is as good as or better than the RB's we're after right now.

That's exactly what I was thinking. He would be a great asset, but we have other holes to fill.
