Two and a half years into his career, and his athletes still cannot play basic football. Humiliated on national TV, and his athletes still make no attempt to tackle correctly. At some point, you learn. This guy is not learning.

Personally I dont think you have much of a clue. The players that are freshman and sophmores will be the savior of this program including the incoming class. I was happy with some of the freshman that played today and the future looks bright. These young guys are gaining valuable experience which will pay off down the road.

ND has reached the bottom of the bottom. They should never have reached that point. There is absolutely no evidence that FUNDAMENTAL FOOTBALL is being coached. He is no better than previous iffy coaches. In fact, he is worse. Too many uncorrected holes in his total gameplan after two and a half years. Special teams are a farce. Offense is a farce. Linebackers are a farce. Zibby is hiding somewhere and still can't tackle when he shows up on the screen. THIS IS A TOTAL FARCE. Start with the guy who hired him and could not find anyone else. Everyone knew this year wasn't going to be the best because there are more underclassmen on the team. They're still in the learning phase. CW tried some different things this year. They didn't pan out. Now it's back to the basics.

Firing CW now would be disastrous. He's doing his best with what he has. Give it a year or so, and you'll see ND winning the NC.

I have correctly predicted every single game notre dame has played for 21 years in a row. My only mistake is the 93 season, I thought we would win the National Title even though I told every I know "BC will win on a last second field goal, I can just feel it." So whats your point?

I agree.

They played pretty good in the first half. Of course, there were a few miscues. But the good far outnumbered the bad. I figured the second half would be a continuation of the first. How wrong I was. It looked as if they just fell apart. As you said, at least there was some improvement overall.

The schedule this year is just brutal. All they can do is learn and grow.
