'08 NE OL Trevor Robinson (Signed LOI to ND)

The only thing we can prove is that this is a decision involving the entire family. Beyond that though, I don't see enough to indicate irrefutable proof that Trevor is being forced unwillfully towards one school over another.

The best you can say is, "read between the lines", but even at that its speculation. So without concrete proof, if you're a Husker fan who believes in the "Dad forced his hand" theory, you'd better get used to the "innocent until proven guilty" pitch from ND fans.

No one said that. Plenty have "spurned" him. And plenty have been a bigger fan of another university. Are you running out of things to say? The only thing you and your fanbase are wrong about is that Trevor's dad isn't forcing him to go to Notre Dame.

Are you even serious? How many times have my words gotten twisted in this thread. I never once said Trevor's father was FORCING him (as in giving an ultimatum). I simply said Trevor's father is PUSHING him towards Notre Dame. Trevor's father has been PUSHING him towards Notre Dame from day 1 when Notre Dame offered back in September. His father is the one who got him to open his recruitment back up, because he was persistent in putting Notre Dame in his ear.

I'm sure you will find some that are PO'd that Trevor's father is heavily involved, but their are bad apples in every bunch that make the rest of a fan base look bad.

...

I just read 19 effin' pages of that. You know what I got out of it? Kids now-a-days don't like the Grateful Dead, and willie's last name is jablome.

Yes, I am serious. So, are you saying it wasn't Trevor's choice to open his recruitment back up? His father made him do that?

Let me ask you a serious question -- if you were 17 and your father had been onto you for almost a year now to do one certain thing, would you not look into or even do it? Your father is the single biggest influence in most peoples life, so you can bet that Trevor is trying to respect his fathers wishes to give ND and Michigan more consideration.

I can tell you this, a couple of posters from HuskerBoard have said that Trevor did infact de-commit, but did NOT commit to the Irish. He is opening his recruitment back up with every school on equal ground.

Scout says he's de-committed and it's a 3 way between NU, ND and UM obviously. I doubt you see him going back to NU after re-opening this process back up.

So, what was your answer to the question? It's obvious from the second part of your post that it was Trevor's choice to open up his recruitment. Why are you bringing his father into it so much then?

Is Robinson being recruited as a Guard by all three schools? Also why on scout does it have Robinson being the #3 ranked guard in the country and Clelland #7 when they have Clelland overall at #66 and Robinson overall at #86?

Do you not read well, or not comprehend well?

Your father asks you to do something and is persistent in doing so, the kid decides he should at least listen to his father and see if he ends up thinking more along the lines of his dad. This is what happened with Trevor.

Seriously, is that not hard to understand?

Do you live with the kid...??? How in the holy hell would you know this? We have our own trouser snake around here who shall remain nameless and thinks he knows it all...but you are quickly rising up the ranks...

Unless you have something to back up those claims...go away

You just said, "is that not hard to understand?" Which is meaning, "isn't it hard to understand"
Well yes, Willie, it is, I don't know why you're even in here arguing with us. No matter what you say, we are very stubborn fans who love our Irish.

You are unbelievable. You have no facts at all. You act like Trevor is someone you talk to all the time but really it's actually your fanbase's opinions. Only a few actually have a true source and you are not one of them. I find it hard to believe his father would be so persistant AFTER Trevor gave his word to Nebraska. Any normal father would support his son's decision. This is my last response to you.

Don't know what this means, or where it will lead, but on the NU scouts site, Trev is no longer on the commit list. Don't know if they took him off for his visits, or if he actually decommited to NU. I guess we'll see.

Go Irish!!!!

quote from second to nunn( a husker fan)

He is gone. Good Luck Trevor.

Let's not get all worked up about this. He is gone, he is not coming back....let's just move on. I am hoping this isn't a huge surprise to the coaching staff and they have a back up plan. But its OK, we will be fine....WE ARE NEBRASKA. There will definitely be some talented linemen that DO want to be a part of our program.

I feel so bad for Nebraska...wait no I really do not. I still remember a few years ago when we played them and it messed up our season real early. Actually I am not getting too fired up about recruits until they are in class and on the field but things are looking good right now.
