no i didn't read your initial post, sorry.

I could care less about you coming on here, I appreciate you sharing the info from the Husker board. I have nothing against Nebraska, I hope to see them win the Big 12 this year actually. I think some Husker fans need to stop throwing Trevor's dad under the bus and blaming him for what is going on with him right now, and maybe look at other factors that have gone on lately. If I was Trevor I would be pissed off that Nebraska is bringing in JUCO O-lineman commitments right now after his verbal. That would piss me off to no end if I was him and I would start looking also. If there is one thing that I saw last year that fans shouldn't do, is trash a recruits father, the way things went down last year with Mr. Smith from Tennessee is a perfect example.

Recruits read the boards and when Trevor looks on the Husker board and see the way some of the fans are trashing his dad, I am quite sure that will make his decision that much easier to take back his verbal to NU and commit to ND or the skunkbears

See, this is more rumors.

Ricky Henry is a JUCO lineman who committed to Nebraska out of HS. We placed him at a JUCO and promised to recruit him again. We did and he is going to play center. Trevor is a guard. They have NOTHING to do with each other.

Also, no one is trashing Trevor's father. Husker fans are simply stating that his father is a big component in him committing to a school. We said this even before he committed the first time. But at that time, it didn't really seem to matter to Trevor. His father wants him to get a good education, and their is nothing wrong with that.

Husker fans said the same thing about Dan Gorski. He had the chance of to walk-on at Nebraska and Notre Dame, but chose Notre Dame due to academics. We were happy for him. Same with Zach Copple. He was a highly rated recruit from Nebraska who chose the education from Harvard, because that is hard to pass up.

I'm sure you will find some that are PO'd that Trevor's father is heavily involved, but their are bad apples in every bunch that make the rest of a fan base look bad.

Personally, I wouldn't get heavily involved in a childs decision, because I am not the one spending the next 4-5 years of my life somewhere. But to each his own and I'm sure Mr. Robinson thinks he is doing the right thing for his son.

I don't think you should be referring to your players as "Was in the top 100".....that was before the evaluations, we had a few players on the pre-eval. too that were removed. But you don't see me referring to them as "Back then when they still hadn't watched their film" We already have enough top 100 on there right now where we don't have to cover our asses. I still like Nebraska football, just not their clueless fans.

All of our lineman (besides the JUCO) are 4* and 5* players and in the top 250. Bryce is a top 100 player on Scout. So what exactly is your point? That after the top 100 they begin to dramatically fall off and thus, do not matter?

And lets not get into a clueless fans debate.

Willie you seem to get defensive every time someone asks for facts. You even go as far as saying that this is common knowledge on the NU message boards. Hold it right there, we all know that every college message board is rampant with rumors and mis-informed individuals. So what makes you think that your message boards are any different. I got news for you they aren't!!! Just stop and actually take in what some of these people are saying. You are damaging your credibility by continuing to harp on the same lines about your information being common knowledge and the crap about his dad. Your info can't be taken for gospel, just as anyone else who hasn't gained info from the horses mouth can't either. I read the article about Trev's dad and all I see is a man who cares about his son's future, whether it be in football or the private sector. Finally, the last time I checked just because NU-Omaha isn't in Lincoln, doesn't mean that it's not affiliated with the other NU campuses.

So you are saying that every single Husker on a message board is mis-informed and mis-guided about Trevor's father pushing him to look into other schools? That is a very large claim. But if you want to make that claim, more power to you, I guess.

And what does UNO being affiliated with UNL have to do with anything? Their are no loyalties that go along with that.

For the 23rd time I will ask though, what in the blue he** is the big deal about Trevor's father wanting Notre Dame more than Trevor? I mean, it has caused this thread to explode over night with fans who refuse to believe this. Are you all so arrogant that you refuse to believe a recruit wouldn't want Notre Dame? Is it that Notre Dame has never benefited from a recruit like this in the past. The way you all continue to refuse to believe this is funny, but at the same time, weird.

Haywoode, I mean Willie...this is an ND site. Go back to the cornfield, go husk some stalks, and don't worry. I'm sure Nebrasska will at least have a top 200 class. Maybe you'll get lucky and have Bob Davie coach/recruit for ya'll.

Well, Trev is home from his visits. Does anyone have any idea, or info on how things went? Will he stay at NU, or come to the midwest? At the end of the day, we can all sit here and talk about this rumor, or that one, hypothesize about who is and who isn't trying to make Trev's decision for him, but in the end, until it comes from the horses mouth, why waste time with a pissing match about information that, as of right now, no one has been privvy to?

Is he coming or is he staying? That's all I want to know at this point.

Go Irish!!!!

OK here's the news from the visit, Apparently his father was so gung ho about getting his kid to ND, he called ahead and hired a hypnotist to sit behind Charlie during their meeting. By the end of the meeting, he had commited to the Irish, was clucking like a chicken whenever someone coughed and he will never pick up a cigarette in his life.

Just to make sure, his father took the leftover hypnotist money and hired farmers all over Nebraska to cut giant interlocking ND's into their fields for Trev to see as they flew home. Of course being NU fans, the farmers refused, until Harrison Smith's father (no stranger to forcing his kid to ND) held them up at gunpoint Jimmy Clausen's dad used the harvester to carve the NDs.

Damned meddling parents.

Big Willie, there isn't anything wrong with Trevor's dad being involved in his recruitment. There is something wrong with you saying that he's forcing Trevor to go to ND. That's NOT true. Trevor is the one making the decision.

He flew the plane.

Oh, and I forgot one thing. While they were at a South Bend restaurant, Trev tried to order the steak. His dad got his head in a scissorlock until he agreed to order the salmon. I understand Trevor was not happy about being told what to do. I was told this by the server at the restaurant. I know it's hard to believe, but the server told me he's a lifelong Husker fan so he has to be close to the situation.

Ah, see? Your dad was just worried about shellfish alergies. Father always knows best, so Notre Dame it is, Huskerboy.

Their is nothing wrong with it. I never stated their was anything wrong with it to begin with. I simply stated what pushed Trevor back into thinking about de-committing, nothing more, nothing less.

Again I will say, if any insider has told you that his father has influenced his decision to reconsider his options, they are completely and 100% wrong.

Once again, many of us will need more verification of this than some Husker fan saying it repeatedly.

If you come to a recruiting board looking for verification on everything, you are certainly in the wrong place. Maybe the JFK conspiracy board would be more suited to your tastes.

No, lil will, I'm in the right place. I don't see everyone else whining that they're not being believed when they present rumors and innuendos. Now the person doing that whining, he might be in the wrong place.

Just went to the Nebraska's Scout web site and noticed that they no longer have T Robinson listed as a commit. I hope we will be hearing good news soon.

Have you even read this thread? It consists of only Irish fans complaining that I have to be wrong. I mean, no recruit that Weis has ever went after has spurned him, nor have they ever been a bigger fan of another university.

Even suggesting this is pure blasphemy!

No one said that. Plenty have "spurned" him. And plenty have been a bigger fan of another university. Are you running out of things to say? The only thing you and your fanbase are wrong about is that Trevor's dad isn't forcing him to go to Notre Dame.
