Since I'm getting messy over on the other thread I figured I'd organize it a little bit.

Scouts Re-Rankings thus far:

1. Dayne Crist- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 5th ranked QB
2. Anthony McDonald- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 7th ranked MLB
3. Braxston Cave- :s: :s: :s: - 3rd ranked Center
4. John Goodman- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 18th ranked WR
5. Joseph Fauria- :s: :s: :s: - 13th ranked TE....< Don't agree
6. Kyle Rudolph- :s: :s: :s: :s: :s: - 1st ranked TE
7. Mike Golic- :s: :s: :s: - 27th ranked OG
8. Darius Fleming- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 4th ranked SLB
9. Lane Clelland- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 7th ranked OG
10. Hafis Williams- :s: :s: :s: - 19th ranked DT...< Like Rivals have seen zero film on him.
11. Omar Hunter- :s: :s: :s: - 20th ranked DT...< I guess they're sticking with the "He'll be a 4* when we get more film on him" B.S.
12. Sean Cwynar- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 8th ranked DT
13. Brandon Newman- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 6th ranked DT...< Very suprised at that.
14. Davis Posluszny- :s: :s: :s: - 27th ranked WLB...< He's one of those "Wait and See senior years after an injured Jr. year."

----------Overall I think Scout dropped more ND commits then they lifted. IMO they continue to the be worse than Rivals (Who I think is waaayy more accurate) in accuracy of their rankings. They give too many 5*'s out and some rankings just all together puzzle me.

Other players of interest are.....

1. Robert Blanton- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 8th ranked CB
2. Ethan Johnson- :s: :s: :s: :s: :s: - 5th ranked DE
3. Jamorious Slaughter- :s: :s: :s: - 19th ranked S....< Wow that deserves no comment.
4. Dan McCarthy- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 9th ranked S
5. Steve Filer- :s: :s: :s: :s: :s: - 4th ranked MLB
6. Etienne Sabino- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 6th ranked MLB
7. Michael Floyd- :s: :s: :s: :s: :s: - 4th ranked WR
8. Cyrus Gray- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 11th ranked RB
9. Garrett Goebel- :s: :s: :s: :s: - 3rd ranked DT

------Carlton Thomas is not evaluated yet, but is likely to get the shaft for some reason.

Scout 100 changes for ND Verbal Commits- Old List had 5 , New List has 5.

Cwynar #92 Old List, not on New List.
Clelland, not on old list, #65 on New List.
Crist #66 Old List, #50 on New List.
Fleming #49 Old List, #88 on New List.
Rudolph #25 Old List, #40 on New List.
McDonald #43 Old List, #74 on New List.

1 new
1 drop-out
1 move-up
3 move-down, 2 (McDonald & Fleming) drop pretty far from Top 50 to back of list.

Avg. Rank on Old List #55, Avg. Rank on New List #63.

Scout has just moved some recruits up and down today after coming out with their rankings just last week. Rankings mean VERY little, but still always want to see our guys get their due and without stars and rankings recruiting becomes alot more boring.

Those who dropped:
John Goodman: 18th WR/ now 24th WR overall (Stayed at 4 stars)
Hafis Williams: 19th DT/ 23rd DT overall (Stayed at 3 stars)

Those who rose:
Joseph Fauria: 13th TE/ 14th TE overall (He dropped in TE rankings, but rose in stars. Went from a 3 star to a 4 star....explain that)
Omar Hunter: 20th DT/ 15th DT overall (Rose to 4 stars)
Braxston Cave: 4th C/ 4th C overall (Rose to 4 stars)

Others of interest:
Jamorious Slaughter: 19th S/ 16th S overall (Rose to 4 stars)
Carlton Thomas: Just got his first rankings of 31st RB overall and 4 stars
Cyrus Gray: 11th RB/ 13th RB overall. Dropped in RB rating and stayed at 4 stars.

Rival's #3 ranking of ND doesn't include Slaughter, either. My guess is that those two would bump us up to at least the #2 spot, and possibly #1.

Any big name recruits making a decision in the near future? We still need a running back (because you can never have to many), and a real burner of a WR (Floyd) wouldn't be all that bad.

-----It includes Slaughter just not EJ. Either way we'll finish above UCLA and Texas IMO, but still behind USC, FSU, maybe Miami.

Oops... My apologies. I'll be more careful next time. I think if the class shapes out the right way, we will finish ahead of everyone, save maybe USC. That is, again, if everything (one?) falls our way.

There are major rumblings regarding Floyd and McCarthy. Time can only tell if these pan out.
