older 247 interview he stated -"Academics are a big factor but I still haven't figured out what I'm going to school for," Wilson said. "Location is important for some people but I'm not thinking about that at all. With football, I look at how often they run the ball and if they get their backs involved in the offense in other ways."

TORE ACL in soph season and wasn't fully healthy in junior year

Visiting for II

Scout: No. 15 Running Back Colin Wilson Locks in Four Visits

Colin Wilson, Scout's 15th-ranked running back and 145th-ranked player overall in 2017, has scheduled four unofficial visits for the summer.

Scout's 15th-ranked tailback in 2017 and Green Cove Springs (Fla.) Clay standout, Colin Wilson, said a summertime decision was a possibility when we spoke a couple of weeks back, and now the four-star prospect has took another step in that direction with four unofficial visits locked in and scheduled.

Caleb Anderson, Clay's wide receivers coach, tells Scout that the 6-foot, 220-pound ball carrier will hit the road next week to visit the campuses of South Carolina (June 6), Louisville (June 8) and North Carolina (June 9). Wilson is also scheduled to visit Notre Dame on June 18.

Wilson has kept things close to vest throughout the process, but currently has no leaders heading into the summer.

Wilson is a powerful, fleet-footed runner that flashes impressive acceleration and burst when seeing daylight in the open field. He does a good job of maintaining balance and bouncing off wimpy arm tackles, and really utilizes his size and frame to his advantage.

Wilson is light on his feet with some shiftiness in his game as well, but we'll see how he bounces back after battling injuries in 2015. Overall speed is an area of improvement moving forward.

Also told Scout he sees a summer commitment. Talks to Louisville and ND the most. Could be one to watch after II if he enjoys it

I'm curious to see if they push for him at II. Anna thinks Louisville has the edge but one to watch

ND tied at the top with USCjr and Louisville. Looked good and no wear and tear on the knee

Scout: delaying his decision until the fall now. Wants to take some OVs. He is a tough read.

Different type of running back then Holmes. Wonder if we'll have room?

per loy--it seems w/ cj in the fold already we are going to kind of sit back and let things play out

I completely missed that he was delaying his decision to take OV's. He just went from a 50/50 to a statistical zero.

If he's holding out that means he wants other offers. If he's healthy, everyone is going to want him. If he's not, ND doesn't want him.

Well fack... this went from great to deflate in an instant.

Per the 247 CB, Michael Warren (247 has him as a 4:s:) looks like he'll go to Louisville if offered. I wonder if that will send Wilson our way.

But I sorta think ND should just take 1 running back this cycle

Is Holmes settled as a RB though? He could play a multiple of positions.

I'd like Carr.

I'm pretty positive I've read a couple articles that have said he will play RB. That doesn't mean he won't be playing a different position down the road, but I think his first position will be RB

Speaking of Warren, it's a shame he or Todd Sibley didn't trip the staff's trigger. Two well thought of Ohio recruits from Catholic schools that OSU passed on. Being that neither is going to MSU means they probably just aren't good enough. lol

In regards to passing on anymore RB's, I'd stay on Stephen Carr. He just doesn't seem to like being committed to SC and he might be one of those guys that wants out of the pressure cooker. It would be a long shot as i think some other schools have risen in his mind.

Besides that, I know ND is still in it on paper with Ty Montgomery & Anthony McFarland but I'd cut those off publicly and go after CJ Cotman. He's gonna be running behind Dillon Gibbons this season and he can catch it coming out of the backfield. He could move outside if the backfield is full down the road or possibly to the other side of the ball.

If nothing above works out, I still won't complain if Ali-Walsh ended up in South Bend. It just feels right.
