Am I the only one who can't find an English broadcast? Only seeing it on Spanish stations.

Edit: NM found it.

Acamp, I don't follow soccer very closely, how good is this U.S. team?

They're good but don't really have any chance of winning the whole thing,... We are also stuck between generations where our 'golden' generation that made us respectable internationally is getting ready to retire or already has... Donovan and crew... Our youth generation looks good but isn't quite there yet, and our current generation is kind of a empty set... It makes for an odd mix...

I guess I'd say we are kind of like Notre Dame football right now,... We are good, we earned respect that wasn't there prior, but everyone knows we still haven't taken the next step... We're in the second tier with Mexico, England, Uruguay, Portugal... Teams that everyone respects but teams that the world powers, the tOSUs and Bamas/ Germany, Brasil, Argentinas of the world don't nessecarily fear.

I hope that makes sense,....

Two things:

Friedel is too good to take time to play for the US but he isn't too good to act as commentator? Dafaq?

I love Zardes but he just isn't good enough, you MUST score there kid!!!

Dude, this isn't your grandma's Brazil. This team is without many of its top players, and even with them, just do not play well for Dunga, who basically has them shackled. Gone is the jogo bonito, and in is a pragmatic, play-your-positions and do your defensive duties style, and the players (and fans) bristle at it. They've lost too many great players to injury, and are too poorly managed to be favored like you say.

I do agree they'll be favored, but I'd personally give us better odds than that...like 30%. 50% if Jurgen wasn't our manager :eek:grin:

Ha, I def recognize its the worst Brazil team of my lifetime, and it is,... But they'd still beat us 9/10 in a knockout round... ( I just knew one of you fvks would come at me on that).
