Ugly. Can't complain about an ACC road win though, especially this time of year.

I wasn't trying to complain I think a win I'd a win especially this late in the year and we needed a game to get back on track and this should help somewhat. FSU game is gonna be a tough road game their length could hurt us.

No biggie I just didn't want to come off as if I was a complainer. We played an ugly game but we won't win games against the tough teams playing like that that's for sure.

I was watching inside college basketball and they were saying that we are headed towards a 8 or 9 seed. I don't know where they see that especially if we win out and win one in the tourney then we are no worse then a 6 seed I would think. Plus they were saying that we rly aren't that good. Said we play terrible defense. Fuck those guys!!

Louisville: 11-4
Virginia: 10-5
Notre Dame: 10-5
Duke: 9-5
Clemson: 9-7
Pittsburgh: 8-7
Syracuse: 8-7

Pretty huge games for seeding this Saturday. We go to Florida State where we should be favored. They've lost 4 in a row and they play at Duke tonight. They are reeling.

Also on Saturday:

Louisville at Miami
UNC at Virginia

Tough to know what to root for in either game. From a conference seeding standpoint, seeing Virginia and Miami lose would be great for ND assuming we take care of business down the stretch. If anyone is still holding out any hope for finishing 1st in the ACC, then seeing Louisville and UNC lose would be better.

Only saw the first half, was glad to see Irish hang on to win. A loss would have been killer. The win puts ND in decent position to get decent seed for ACC and NCAA tourneys. Hope they take advantage of the opportunity ahead and finish the regular season strong.

Wasn't able to watch the game, just now seeing the highlights.

This move by Bonzo at 2:25 is freaking awesome. This guy is the craftiest and best finisher I've seen the paint since Harangody.

Stinking game was blacked out for me in Raleigh, didn't know they even did that on ESPN3. Looking at the stands in the highlights there may not have been a single person in the upper deck.

Lots of gimme hoops down low for WF, didn't look like they were playing overly inspired ball. Highlights aren't the best witness admittedly.

Really not a bad assessment at all. We lack a rim protector unfortunately and that's not going to get any better in the future unless Maker comes here. It was a little discouraging that they still could get to the paint without their best player who usually kills us in the post, but we did lock down when we had to and make the stops needed to win.

I realize the offense has been trash too today, but is the defense being awful the usual thing under Brey? I have only been watching games consistently for a couple years.

It is funny how so many people on this board are so quick to blame the football or basketball coach for lazy effort or bad play by the players. At what point do you start holding the players are accountable? Coaches can only do so much. In regards to the basketball team, at some point, especially this late in the season with a lot riding on this game, the players need to step up and do their part.

Bottom line is that the team isn't very good. 6-6 against the functional ACC teams. 1-2 on this road trip is a disgrace.
