Rivals recently updated ND as an interest and added Mike Sanford as the recruiter.

His cousin is '16 SC commit, CA RB Melquise Stovall who also holds an ND offer

If Alloway is on board, do the Irish go after Carr? They went after '17's #1 RB in the class, Najee Harris who is also from CA and is a Bama commit.

Could get interesting.

Stephen Carr and Damian Alloway's QB is a kid named Cade Sparks who put up some Nintendo numbers this year but never rose up the rankings. But he caught the eye of Mike Sanford Jr so Sparks will be playing for Mike Sanford Sr at Indiana State this fall. That's how recruiting works. Good story all the way around.

Probably... until Najee Harris flips to SC then Carr's going somewhere else. So right now you might actually be recruiting against UCLA more than SC because a lot of people think HArris will be a Trojan in the end.

*The biggest news out West is Fontana (Calif.) Summit running back Stephen Carr has earned a 5th star and it's definitely well deserved. Carr is a big back with speed, power, toughness and the ability to run between the tackles or bounce it outside. His game was made for the pads but even on the 7v7 circuit, Carr still flashed with his hands out of the backfield and ability to make a defender miss in the open field. He remains a USC soft commitment but said Miami, Michigan and Notre Dame all could get visits.
