I'd say Wood is done... too bad too he proved he could have been hall of fame cali. before he got hurt... oh well, puts to bed the "Bigger to Chicago sports than Micheal Jordan" comment doesn't it?

K Wood will no doubt be one of the bigger, "What could have been" guys in baseball history... right behind the likes of D Straw and the Mick...

eh, maybe, he'll never be the same... even when he came back from his FIRST surgery it was clear his breaking pitches weren't the same... if you ever get the chance check out a tape of him BEFORE he got hurt then look at his current breaking pitches... Not the same guy, by a wide margin... I hope you are right though... The Cubs are always a interesting team when winning and Wood proved he belonged before he got hurt, I hate those Ki Jana Carter like stories where the body just fails...

don't remember him??? Great college running back for Penn St on that awesome 94 team, the Bengals drafted him and he NEVER played more than a couple games a season in five-six years... something always broke on that guy...
