Watching Ronald Jones run makes me sick. He was supposedly all Irish up until the week before the banquet which he still visited for.

Why would anyone want USC to win?

Because we're going to be favored in 6 of our final 7 games making 11-1 a realistic final record. And we don't need Temple/Navy being our 2nd and 3rd best wins.

UW's Gaskin is averaging better than 7 ypc.

Pre-game SC's DE Pelon and ND Woods were both listed as banged up/doubtful. I've heard Pelon's backup's name called, Townsend. Is Woods playing? His backups are Daniel and Temple

Huskies running at 4.7 ypc. We better have 300 rushing yards against these turds.

I disagree with this. All that matters is that we win...our opponents record likely won't matter in the end. See OSU last year.

Yeah but our lack of a conference championship game means we might need other tie-breakers...OSU's beatdown of Wisconsin apparently closed the deal for the playoff committee.

Jones is 7 carries 61 yards, 8.7 ypc.

That stat they just showed didn't include Jones last run.

I have a bad feeling that these defensive penalties are going to result in southern cal pulling this out.

Cody Kessler has such shitty pocket presence. USC's OL isn't helping

See, I don't know, for a few reasons

(a) Ohio State was hanging around near the top all year, after losing the opener; they didn't have to move up from 15;

(b) they also had the benefit of a conference title game (which is what critics of ND's 12 game season intentionally and, I think, dishonestly ignore as a disadvantage, not an advantage);

(c) Ohio State beat teams that were perceived to be good teams down the stretch (I don't agree that they were, but that was the perception, when they beat Michigan and Wisconsin (this one was a blow out); and

(d) Ohio State gets the benefit of the doubt because of the false perception that being from a Power 5 makes them a good team if they win the conference, plus Ohio State has a favorable rep among the cognoscenti.

Anyway, that's my guess. 11-1 ND, winning against unranked teams may well not crack the top 4. I mean, it depends, obviously, on the teams above ND, teams above them losing @ one per week, doesn't get us there. But maybe....

All I can think is USC is going to have 10 days to prep for Notre Dame, will come out fired up and crush us...

I see OSU last year had three top-25 wins and also won their conference.

Also, really? See TCU and Baylor last year. 11-1 doesn't guarantee you anything.
