LSU players sent home?

There are some rumors floating around that 3 LSU players have been sent home. Atleast two are contributors. I'll look around some more and find out who they are.

Got this info from the Shreveport Times. Jessie Daniels (starting safety) kick returner Trindon Holliday, backup linebackers Perry Riley and Kelvin Sheppard recently missed curfew. They might see limited action now but who knows.

that is nice if it is true. they probably were sent home....to get some rest and be back in NO before the game! LOL! Na, Holliday is a gamebreaker, i am actually happy to see his name on that list, now if Early Doucet were on it my day would be made.

They just posted an article on ESPN.com and the players will not be sent home. Miles said that their "suspensions" are not determined yet. They could be a quarter, a half, or the whole game, and he even says that the players may be able to do some things to lessen the time they will sit out.

That's a really tough punishment... LSU is a classy program... What a joke... Basically, Miles just should have said, I'll sit all those players as long as we are winning, but if we fall behind they will be sure to see the field.

One quarter? Whoa, that's harsh. Seriously, I hope they sent them all home....for selfish reasons. Go ND!

Heres the punishment:

If LSU trails at any portion of the 1st quarter - it will be a 1 quarter "punishment'

If LSU leads comfortably after 1 quarter, it will be a suspension as deemed by the comfort level of the score.

This little game was popularized by Bobby Bowden.

Daniels will be only be allowed to play defense on passing downs.
