It's tough to coach "composure" when you are this unhinged, although I'm generally fine with really tough, emotional coaches. Relatedly, I don't mind much about Kelly's purple faces; he's not this bad and I like his passion. But I do wish he would be a bit more conscious about his language during games, because I don't think repeated and easily-lip-read "F- - - !!" and "F - - - ing!!!" on national TV reflects particularly well on the university. He did it more than once on Saturday.

What would Urban have done if he were still at Florida? He probably would have ignored his player's conduct and left the disciplining for the next coach. I, for one, am glad to see a coach stand up and tell his players that such poor behavior is unacceptable.

Now we are getting to it. When Meyer, Harbaugh, and Sabin get pissed, no one wants a piece of it; nobody!
Even with Kelly and the famous "purple face," with as much fun as was had at the coaches expense he looked like he was ready to eat nails and chew glass.
The elephant in the room, with this conversation is, McElwain looked like a pussy. Plain and simple. His body language was retreating and diminutive, even if he was screaming obscenities. It doesn't take most long to learn the unwritten rule, "Never take a step back when speaking with anger on hostility."

You may have missed it, but Mike and Mike (they're on ESPN) spent a good chunk of their morning on this topic (maybe yesterday?). I only heard 5-10 minutes, but it sounded like they had talked about it for quite a while beforehand).
